Shout-out to our fabulous array of readers at last Thursday’s prose reading—and even bigger shout-out to @marydellflc for being our host. Truly nothing beats hearing stories read aloud with Hook Mountain in full view.

A little over a week ago we left the island. Deep Blue Sound was one of the most exquisite plays I’ve ever had the privilege of inhabiting. I loved it when I saw it at Summerworks, so much so that I asked the folks at @clubbedthumb to let me be in the remount at the Public. I’m so grateful they said yes. A beautiful, precious experience to reunite with my Plano sister #crystalfinn and husband @kingry1200, and to finally get to work with some of my favorite actors in NYC, many of whom I had admired for oh so many years ago. Gorgeous cast of human beings whom I adore. And! Our crazy brilliant design team and fantastic SM team - you all fucking rock. Forever was and will be an ardent admirer of @sunnyhillhouse and @abekoog - thank you for having me. This was very very special. All 📸 but last 6 by the wonderful @photo_by_baranova
