@kingsgateworkshops Open Studios starts today with our opening evening between 6.30-9.30pm! It will continue to be open from 12‐6pm on Saturday and Sunday. Swipe to the fourth picture to see a before and after snapshot of my set up for the weekend.

I was looking through some photos of different iterations of how I've used and displayed work in my space and it's interesting to see how its changed over the years.

Find me in Studio 47 with other textile based artists, makers and designers. There's so much to explore throughout the building including ceramics, printmaking, painting a range of workshops and so much more.

Square stacking rings styled by Ann.

Ann has gradually built up her collection of square rings over a few years. An oval ruby, round tanzanite and a little rosecut cabochon plus a selection of perspex rings. So here are her favourite combinations. Lovely colours especially with the matching nail varnish and lovely contrasts.

Congratulations on Barbara’s great weekend @craftfestival Bovey Tracey too!

Kingsgate Workshops Open Studios | 19–21 June

The Open Studios weekend is almost here, and @kingsgateworkshops will once again open its doors to the public.

Sadly, Ceramics Sculpture Studio will not be open on this occasion, as I will be exhibiting at @potfest.co.uk by the Lake at @compton_verney over the same weekend.

If you have the chance to visit Kingsgate, it’s a rare opportunity to step inside working artists’ studios, meet the makers, see work in progress, and discover the remarkable community that makes this place so special. There is an extraordinary range of artists and practices under one roof, and Open Studios offers a glimpse into creative lives that are usually hidden behind closed doors.

If you’re heading to Potfest by the Lake instead, do come and say hello. I’ll be there presenting a new collection of porcelain vessels @cosmin_ciofirdel

Whichever you choose, I can guarantee an exceptional weekend surrounded by creativity, craftsmanship, and an inspiring community of makers. Here’s to open doors and curious minds 🥂
