Growing up in a Jamaican household & living in NYC, Reggae, Dancehall, & soca was a big part of his musical upbringing . When you add Hip hop , Pop, Gospel , & R&B, you get a melting pot of inspirations. From Vybz Kartel to Kirk Franklin , Silvera knew his sound would be different. In 2021, King X Silvera released his first single SO X BLESSED & It Has Blown Up.

Years ago, God woke me up at 2AM to write this song. I fought it. I had NO IDEA what He was setting up for years later.
