your reminder to celebrate !!!!! 🥳🥳🥳

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!”
Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬

guys i have a not so secret secret and you should probably tell EVERYONE. celebration is ESSENTIAL to living a life of JOY in the Lord. every high, low, and everything in between, CELEBRATE IT !!! Jesus tells us to rejoice ALWAYS, and to put it simply that means REJOICE. ALWAYS. what a gift to get to rejoice in every situation KNOWING our God already won. He came to earth, lived a sinless life, yet DYING for all of ours for we were the JOY set before Him as He endured the cross. then He stole the keys of death from the enemy winning US eternal life in Him. that’s something worth celebrating if i do say so myself :) if He could rejoice while enduring death on a wooden cross, why don’t we rejoice in whatever season we are in.

and PS rejoicing through every moment of life makes it a whole lot more enjoyable 😉

SO LETS REJOICE ALWAYS !!!!! who’s with me ??!!?!

❄️ winter vibes in ohio ❄️

winter can come with some lonely feelings, sickness, or even that seasonal depression that may come with the cold. BUT winter is also such an opportunity to GROW🌷🌷🌷and find joy in the mundane. we get snow days, which i’m convinced are Gods way to slow us down, make us rest, and just be alone with Him. we can have a little movie night in for once with our roommates or family. we can make our mornings so cozy by wearing our comfiest sweatshirt, sitting on our comfy couch, drinking our favorite hot coffee or tea. we can snuggle up and spend intentional time with those we love. we can go outside and stand in awe of the beauty of the snow and sunsets
that is clearly a representation of who Jesus is. we can make core memories with our friends rolling over in a sled that you piled too many people into, and ending up with a face full of snow. you can have more time to focus on schoolwork or read that book you’ve been wanting to read.

moral of the story… there is SO much good in this season. it’s our choice to make the most of it. we can enjoy the season we are in right now :)

it’s ok to just rest, in fact it’s NECESSARY.

as Eric Gilmour says, “Many people are pressing and working and fighting to get God to give them something of Himself, but it will not happen. We must recognize His desire to feed us, obey His command to rest, and then receive in His presence that supernatural bread from His own hand.”
