After 12 years in the pest control industry, and being Part of @the___grit For it’s first incredible 6 years,it’s time for a new chapter.

It’s hard to put into words how much this chapter of my life has meant to me. Some of my best friends, favorite memories, largest personal growth and biggest lessons came from the people I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside.

I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built at The Grit, but even more grateful for the relationships that came from building it.

As I step away from Grit and the pest control industry, there’s so much from this chapter that I’m grateful for and will always cherish.

Over the last little while, I’ve been working closely with John, Ben, and Garth through this transition, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the way we’ve navigated it together. I have so much love and respect for those guys. We’re all aligned, excited for what’s ahead, and genuinely cheering each other on. I’ll always be a fan of Grit and the people there.

As for what’s next…

A close friend and mentor of mine from my mission in Kansas City and I are going into business together. We’re still figuring out exactly what that looks like, but everything I’ve learned and experienced over the last 12 years helped create this opportunity, and it felt like one I couldn’t pass up.

Definitely bittersweet, but mostly I just feel grateful.

Grateful for the people. Grateful for the memories. Grateful for the growth and everything this chapter gave me.

12 years I’ll never forget.

On to the next chapter. ❤️

I am so incredibly grateful for everyone in my corner this summer. It was extremely difficult and challenged me in ways never before. I’m proud to say that even in my toughest moments I didn’t betray my North Star. I developed an insane work ethic, an unshakeable mindset and resilience. I did my best to show up for my people and lead from the front. I love my people, I’m grateful for the incredible relationships I formed, the person I became and the lessons I learned

As my friend Gus says - “Always remember who you are and what you stand for!”

Here’s a few memorable moments! I now know what it’s like to survive 6 tornadoes, drive a corvette, eat at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and talk to a real life person who’s main job is to play Santa Claus in parades

swipe till the end to see the biggest wasp nest I’ve ever seen 🐝
