We can’t believe a whole week has gone by since our Box Hill Trail launch!

Thanks to @kit__theatre for leading people on their journey with such curiosity, taking a really close up look at the nature surrounding them and adding to their journals. What a truly magical day!

We had a wonderful time launching the ‘Dawn after Night, Spring after Winter’ trail at Box Hill yesterday. The woodland came to life as people journeyed around the accessible loop engaging with nature and adding to their journals along the way. Immersive performances from @aaronbaksh_mvmnt @tilly_woodward @kit__theatre @olanalight @jack_chi_music @stillshadey Such a memorable experience. Thanks to all those who joined us.

Classbot is back for its third year of action!

Russell says: "What I love about this project is the way it gets children to bring together creative activity, technical learning, and theatrical play. In one moment they are doing challenging coding exercises, the next doing their own creative writing or teaching the robot how to act more human or read stories better. They are debating with an (actual) AI about how we can or can't trust AI, and then are going off down paths that they have completely invented for themselves. Last year that included: smuggling a toy spider into a classroom to create a distraction; assembling a costume for the robot to wear to help her escape so that she blended in while walking through the streets of London; and writing impassioned and well-argued letters to our fictional government department."

What an inspiring and unforgettable educational experience!

I’m working on a very cool project with @kit__theatre and @potentialdifference.theatre called Classbot 450. It’s an interactive, immersive adventure that takes over primary schools to bring coding workshops and arts based learning to young people that need it most.

We’re currently part of Big Give’s Arts For Impact campaign, where every donation made by the 25th of March will be doubled. I know it’s a tight time in the world but if you can share the campaign or have capacity to donate, we’d be mega grateful. @biggiveorg is wicked because it means even the price of a cup of coffee can have huge impact.

The GLC Reception children took part in a two-week storytelling production with @kit__theatre where they helped Professor Memo, a dinosaur expert, gain membership to the “Royal Dinosaur Club.” The children learned about dinosaurs, their habitats, and diets, and even dug for fossils as part of the adventure. It was an extremely creative and exciting experience. #glctrust #dinosaurs #curiosity #creativity #tilbury
