A Momentary Lapse of Reason.
A Momentary Lapse of Reason, United Kingdom first issue on EMI Records.

EMD 1003 A-1U-1-2 EMD 1003-A1 DMM D Precision / EMD 1003 B-1U-1-1 EMD 1003-B1 DMM Precision DD

Haven't played this album in ages so I thought I'd play n post...this 1987 album marked the triumphant return of Pink Floyd, definitely an album of its time with those distinct 80s tones, this album took a while for some to warm to which is understandable, not the Floyd of old but definitely still Pink Floyd..just a bit of a different PF.. 🎶

Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King by Dave Matthews Band, 2009

It was a good mail day today, and I love how the sunshine hits my music area every day at this time in the evening for a precious few minutes even more than getting this long wanted album for only $17.

The album that is dedicated to Leroi Moore, the GrooGrux King himself. As a founding member of DMB, his integral saxophone contributions are magic. And this album's opening song, Grux, with his haunting saxophone reminds us that he still haunts and dances along...

This dirge plays right into the second song, my favorite on the album. An energetic, sultry, spicy one... Shake Me Like a Monkey.

Have loved this group since the early 90's and are some of my favorite concerts, Summerfest in Milwaukee in the late 90s, Red Rocks in '98 where LeRoi rocked an amazing solo opening, and at Denver's Mile High Stadium in '99. High time I see them again, and I know Roi's space will still be felt despite the band's fortuitous music since then.

I do crack up at the people who laugh at Dave's dance style, but no worries, because their concerts have been the most inclusive & freest I've felt of any shows... Mindset: Dance like Dave, no worries, & smile! 💛🩷🤎😊

*I was today years old when I learned that Dave himself did this album art, thanks to the knowledge of @kit_kat_jams Thank you!
