This artwork is part of a cultural exchange collaboration with @kitcath.etc
For my piece, I explored traditional Korean culture, focusing on hanbok, hanok architecture, and the calm, poetic beauty often seen in historical Korean settings. Through research and visual storytelling, I wanted to capture a peaceful moment that reflects Korea’s elegance, tradition, and connection with nature.
In exchange, Catherine created a stunning artwork inspired by Pakistani folklore, reimagining Yech, a Kashmiri mythical creature. Her interpretation—set in a winter Kashmiri forest and infused with mystery and playfulness—beautifully reflects the richness of Pakistani mythology and storytelling. Seeing my culture represented through her artistic lens was truly special.
This collaboration was about learning, exchanging stories, and celebrating how folklore, tradition, and art can connect cultures beyond borders 🌿
Thank you for this meaningful collaboration, Catherine 🤍

COLLAB POST with @kitcath.etc !

Part traditional painting, part digital rendering😁

It looks like a scene right out of a Pixar movie😭the amazing background and cat was painted by @kitcath.etc and I rendered the sisters. That cat and the girls are all besties I’m sure😂

THANK YOU CATH! Doing a collab with you was great!!!
