Davey girl, I love you! Josh introduced me to his girls and I’m in love with them! A decade of knowing this guy and now I get to love his sweet family too!

Oktoberzest! 🍺 A Day 2 Classic here at Theology Beer Camp, with beer floats making a comeback, and for the first time ever, a live polka band.

Thanks for hanging with us, embracing Bottle Share, and trying these delicious food trucks!

And we hope you chose a fun nighttime activity, whether that was @doctormonalisa’s film screening, @theologyontherocks doing Hot Ones: Theology Edition or playing games!

Can’t believe how fast it all went by. What was your highlight?

Oktoberzest is gonna be better than ever! Pine Ridge has a beautiful outdoor space for us to use. The weather will be gorgeous. Cigars will be available. Beer floats, cornhole, bottle share too.

Come try delicious Kansas City food trucks.
Smoke a cigar. Play some cornhole. Put soft serve in your beer.

@princetonseminary is our Oktoberzest sponsor which means you get a fancy tasting glass this year! 🍻

Who’s ready for some games? Beer? Karaoke? Theology Beer Camp is much more than just listening to scholars blow your mind from stage.

Play Magic the Gathering with a buddy. Nerd out on Lord of the Rings with an old TBC pal. Try a bunch of new beers from Kansas City breweries. And lose your voice night one from the most epic, communal karaoke you’ve ever experienced.

If you’re not hyped yet, get hyped.

We’re about to have the best time.

Kansas City trip for @pauseplaycenter 🎲 So fun to get to photograph this event this year instead of be sick in bed the entire time, and having davey as my assistant was extra fun 😌 Also, so awesome to see @whateveramoonband for the first time!!!

I feel like having a baby has made 2026 a year of firsts firsts firsts and it’s so special. Most are hers, but some are mine too! 💚

You’ve experienced Oktoberfest but what about OktoberZEST? We’re getting so pumped for this year’s festivities because they’ll be zestier than ever before.

Every year is better than the last, and while we always have food trucks, a bottle share, cigars, and rain-or-shine good times, this year we’re bringing back the soft serve machine, we’ll have an even more glorious outdoor space with a fire pit, we’ve got fancy beer-tasting plans, and Kansas City BBQ for ya.

Bring any of the aforementioned items if you so desire, but mostly just bring yourself and your eagerness to enjoy sips and socializing.
