Wow wow wow our first SalOn! at the new @come.to.life.world was so fun! Thanks to all who took the plunge and shared something at the edge of their practice… and to all who cheered them on. Much soap, much opera, much delight. Turns out feasting on failure makes for a damn good meal.

We were so engrossed in @sirnoraschell’s show-stopping final act that we didn’t get any pictures, you’ll just have to take our word that it was fabulous.

Link 🔗 up top takes you to the interest form for anyone who wants to get more involved, and a mailing list to stay in the loop about future SalOn!s 🪩

We’ve got an exciting update for this Saturday’s SalOn! (SOAP) OPERA at @come.to.life.world … @james.la.bella is joining the lineup! Welcome James!

Tix are suggested $5-15 online (in bio) or at the door, no one turned away. Bar will be flowing, micro acts will be glowing. See you there for all things high/low, clean/dirty, over the top/under the grime, or???

Two of the lifeworld founders met at Salon! like 10 years ago?? So it’s primordial type shit. Get back to the damn fundamentals. We’re talking about the dang wellspring of eclecticism.

See more below, $5-$15 sliding scale, no one turned away. June 7 at 7pm. Tickets in bio.

~~~~~~~~~~
Hatched by Theresa Buchheister in 2014 and co-curated by Matthew Antoci & Jillian Jetton, this quarterly affair brings together artists, comedians, chefs, scientists, theologians – anyone with something to share in a DIY, low-stakes setting – in one delightfully unpredictable night. Presenters are asked to share something *at the edge* of their practice, and the resulting mixed-bill of micro-acts coalesces (loosely) around a theme…
This season that theme is (SOAP) OPERA – think high/low, clean/dirty, over the top/under the grime… or??? Join us Saturday June 7th to find out.
Spooky season at Red Eye wouldn’t be complete without the triumphant return of JENNA TODD: The Demon Waitress of Lulu’s. Thanks to Katelynn Kenney, Alex Parrish, and the entire Mutical Multiverse team. We can’t wait for your next mash-up!
