What a blast! Got to attend the spectacular world premiere of @junghalstudios’ #masalafilm NAMASLAY at the amazing David Geffen Theater in the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. 🍿🎞️

Congratulations on your first feature, Rish and Kanish! So fun and funny - this is surely only the beginning of your movie-making careers and I can’t wait to see what you two create next! 💪🎬

@kanish.22 and I met through @ShaolinWushuCenter and the wushu crew did not disappoint. ⚔️ Thank you to @MouzamMakkar for being my gorgeous date and slaying with the poses. 💃🏻

NAMASLAY is now playing in theaters around the country and you can call your local theater to request it!

Summer 2026
The summer of too little beach time, and not enough duffy’s. The summer of 2am brunches with buddies and Apple Watches telling us the surrounding noise is too loud. The summer my other ride was a white 95 and the one time we were almost died by a bear. The summer I went to China and got tattooed and shook it too hard. The summer of late night hotel hallway parties, thrumples, and trying to master the sling shot. The summer I grew my hair out and finally learned mahjong, kinda sorta. And even tho it’s still hot as fuck. Goodbye summer. The world is falling apart and we’re burning alive on this hellscape that is earth, but aren’t I lucky to be burning along side of these assholes.

China, June 2026. Honestly it’s been hard to put into words how amazing this experience was. My first time in China and I LOVED it! What an amazing place (minus the squatty potties LOL) I’m not always great at sharing on social media but I’m feeling inspired to post today and I’m sure there’s more China photo dumps coming in the next weeks LOL

So grateful for spending time with friends, experiencing the culture, seeing my Sifu’s hometown, the natural beauty, ancient towns to huge cities and oh yeah… my first Kung Fu competition ☺️🥇🥇😆 more on that in another post.

From late night massage finds to drinking baiju to that one time someone on a Vespa quietly exclaimed “woooooow” at us, to 2am convos and bruised tailbones and the cucumber collective and jump scares and energy vampires. To getting first tattoos together, hallway parties and side quests. To the dedication of braiding hairs, sharing meds and keeping each other safe. To all the belly laughs and bolo ties and the ONE thrumple pose we took. What a trip to form new bonds, tighten old ones and to talk non stop about squatty potty’s. Thank you to @shaolinwushucenter for bringing us all together and putting on this amazing trip. I’ll miss seeing these idiots when I wake up.

The day was filled with soapboxes, the metro, Yamas’, friends you met in Crete, a clogged toilet, Villa’s tacos, mahjong (ancestors were obviously not happy, all the white peoples kept winning), and the inability to pick a movie from the 90s. It was a good one.
