FOLK PEOPLE VEST PATTERN RELEASE! 🐴 🐟🐓

Thank you to all of my testers who made the most beautiful vests! It was so fun seeing the colours everyone chose and I’m currently itching to cast on another one, I feel very inspired by them all.

The Folk People Vest (junior) includes sizes 6 months to 4-5 years.

It is made in a worsted weight yarn, I personally used @filcolana Peruvian Highland Wool, one of my favourites for colourwork. The pattern includes 3 charts - Cowboy, Fisherman and Mother Hen, which are incorporated into the knitting using a mix of intarsia and duplicate stitch.

I cannot wait to see what people make with this pattern, so many possibilities!

2025 was a year filled with so many celebrations — from weddings and baby showers to moments we’ll cherish forever.

It was also the year we found out about our little one in May, played four tournaments with you along for the ride, shared the news with our families in July, told the world in October, took a babymoon to Cyprus in November, and celebrated you in December. We can’t wait to celebrate you even more when you arrive in 2026. 🤍

So thankful for the memories, our community, and the friends who did life with us this year. Grateful for all the players I had the privilege to coach during club and in my second year with the Sabres. 💙

Happy New Year! Cheers to 2026 — new beginnings, new adventures, and stepping into parenthood. ✨

Heirloom Quilt Cardigan 🥹✨🫶🏻

I dreamt of this project in Home for soo long! It‘a such a cozy canvas to play with creating palettes of colorways - I chose a warm focal point with Novel and Brew, then layered in some cooler tones like Heirloom (duh!), Dinner Party, Reading Nook, Movie Night, and Gingham. Then some neutrals - Love Letter and Garden Rose and Honeybee for some contrast!

This project is a work of art, designed by @katrynseeburger and sample knit for us by @knitsn.bits - thank you to both these artists for making such magic! 🪄

The Home kit and individual skein restock will be available THIS FRIDAY October 17th at noon eastern!

Estes is my favorite place; isn’t it yours? I have a whole wedding guide dedicated to Estes Park because last year, I had over 25 photoshoots and weddings up there. And as a previous Estes Park bride, I know how overwhelming it can be to have many of your guests travel to this beautiful place. I want to make it fun and special for everyone.

My co-workers asked if the houses were inspired by Bergen — I thought that was so fun! @knitsn.bits drew inspiration for this pattern from Norway🇳🇴, and Bergen in particular. Mission accomplished: Norwegians recognize it right away 🏠
