In honor of National Physical Therapy Month, Liv Labs thanks the amazing pelvic health PTs who have provided product development input, research support, and expert feedback during our R&D journey. Thanks, especially, to Drs. Sarah, Sarahann, Melissa, Ruth, Laurel, Hope and Jennifer. Last week our CEO met two more amazing talents, Dr. Kianna Williams, PT and Tess Busey, OTR/L of Peak Pelvic Health, at the American Urogynecologic Society’s annual meeting in Denver.  They were kind enough to join Liv Labs and share their clinical observations of Pippa® Resistance Spring use among endurance athletes and new moms.

Dr. Kianna earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Elon University, holds an Advanced Practice in Physical Therapy certification for pelvic health, and utilizes pelvic floor dry needling as part of her clinical skillset. She brings both professional expertise and personal insight to the work she does with active-duty military members and the perinatal population. Dr. Kianna is clearly passionate about helping her clients feel confident, informed, and supported. Tess earned her Master’s of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Southern California, holds certification in Pilates for Therapists, and has extensive training in pregnancy and postpartum-related symptoms, pelvic pain, and urinary/sexual function. Tess helps clients build sustainable habits, confidence, and function for long-term wellness. She is a keen observer of how lifestyle informs physical health, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life.  Join us in celebrating these women and the importance of physical therapy in promoting resilience and supporting strength, mobility, and overall wellness lifelong! I had an amazing weekend being a TA/Host for the Pelvic Floor Level One course through Herman and Wallace this weekend! I met a lot of amazing ladies that I can nerd out with, help keep my own skills strong as well as create new amazing OT's and PT's in the Pelvic Health world! I am extremely passionate about this career field and strongly believe in strength in numbers. As much as I'm exhausted after all the work I put into this weekend, I cannot wait to Host and TA more @hermanwallacepelvicrehab at @whole_kids_co 😊 I'm super grateful for everyone that helped me and trusted me to put all this together and the extra two TA's that showed up this weekend that made it even more fulfilling. We had to photoshop @knittedpelvis in and I think it looks pretty good!! Haha.
