I can’t believe I almost missed all of this. 🖤🥀

if you are struggling, I promise it gets better. I spent years attempting and believing the world would be better and brighter without me. climbing out of that darkness was a long and treacherous journey, but I’m grateful every single day I made it out.

to everyone in this video— thank you. you are each a reason I am so grateful I stayed. each of you have played a part in me realizing how beautiful life really is. and I can never express fully what that means to me.

if you are in the darkness and struggling, I am always here and my inbox is open. I may not be able to pull you from the darkness, but I will always sit with you holding a candle for as long as you need. 🫶🏼

to my first friend at my gym, @cam.akira : it’s an understatement to say you will be missed in this little powerlifting section.

when I first started coming to this gym, I was having a hard go of it. I had lost my job, lost my first gym family, and was slowly losing my love of powerlifting. I kept my head down, showed up to lift, and left night after night without a word. I never thought I’d find another community in the gym, let alone a BETTER community than the one I had lost. I’ve never been so happy to be proven wrong.

Cam, thank you for taking the time to say hi that night and for including me in the tight knit group you all had established for years. Some days, the laughs and the shit talking got me through more than anyone knows. I’ll never forget the one time you helped me jump my car and in the midst of me profusely apologizing, you simply said, “You don’t need to apologize. That’s what friends are for.” And I’m so lucky to call all of these amazing people friends now.

Every one of these amazing human beings have been a part of me pushing myself harder, hitting new PRs, and falling back in love with powerlifting. This group has made such an impact— and none of it could have happened without Cam saying hi and including me in the community at this gym.

So, Cam— thank you. For being a friend, giving me shit, pushing me to do more, and being the beginning of me finding my place at this gym. We all joke a lot and self deprecation is our favorite way to get a laugh, but I hope you know to all of us you truly are one of the best athletes and human beings we got to know.

Your new gym fam has no idea how lucky they are to have you. I know we all felt lucky for the time we had. I hope this next chapter is incredible, and if you ever wind up back in VA, just know we will keep the back rack open for ya. 🫶🏼

So.... we went on a cruise. This was our first cruise together, and we were pleasantly surprised. Despite Neil frying up in the sun, we had a good time swimming with the pigs, goofing around, eating nonstop, and looking good (we gain the weight we lost!)

Here's to more vacations together ✨️

Is the Zen’in Family All Bad? 👀

I had the opportunity to interview two amazing cosplay guests: Maki Zen’in and Toji Fushiguro cosplayers!

We dove into the big question: Is the Zen’in family really all bad? Because these cosplayer made them seem nice!

We discussed what truly makes a top-tier anime and highlighted a hidden gem that many fans may have overlooked because it never received an English dub. Plus, we broke down how the Shibuya Incident changed the landscape of Jujutsu Kaisen forever. From shocking character moments to heartbreaking losses, the arc delivered an emotional rollercoaster that left viewers stunned and sparked countless conversations throughout the anime community.

Check out the interview as we celebrate cosplay, anime storytelling, and the moments that keep fans coming back for more!
