BLACK MEN IN TECH NEED MORE THAN OPPORTUNITY. WE NEED COMMUNITY AND CONVERSATION. 🎤

At the THRIVE Black Men in Tech Conference 2026 in Dallas, we sat down with Dr. Joe Johnson, therapist and founder of the Joe Johnson Group, for a conversation centered around mental health, purpose, and the importance of showing up as Black men.

As we continue to build careers, businesses, families, and communities, we can't forget about the men behind the success.

Through these conversations, The Good Dad Tribe is creating space for Black men to share their experiences, perspectives, and the lessons that help us grow.

YOUR MIND STILL THINKS YOU’RE 21. BUT DOES YOUR BODY AGREE? ⚡

If you’re a former athlete, high achiever, or busy professional, you probably know how to push yourself.

But here’s the question…

You’ve mastered working hard. Have you mastered recovering smart?

That no pain, no gain mentality that once helped you compete might be the same thing keeping you from staying consistent today.

You go all in. Push too hard. An old injury flares up. Suddenly, you’re sidelined again.

Sound familiar?

KNETIC Rx, we helps adults in their 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond build strength, improve mobility, and stay active without constantly starting over.

In this video, we’re breaking down the inflammatory phase, the first stage of tissue healing, before progressing into proliferation (reload) and remodeling (rebuild).

Here’s what many high achievers struggle to accept:

PROGRESS ISN’T ALWAYS ABOUT PUSHING HARDER. SOMETIMES IT’S ABOUT KNOWING WHEN TO PULL BACK.

Not every injury happens overnight. Sometimes years of accumulated stress, insufficient recovery, and pushing through warning signs finally catch up.

Taking a temporary step back isn’t failure. It’s an opportunity to recover, rebuild, and move forward with intention.

Fitness should support your career, family, and quality of life—not constantly leave you on the sidelines. THAT’S What makes KNETIC Rx different. We know how to address and mitigate pain, injury, build capacity for longevity… AND 🥁🥁get you result in the process…

MOVE BETTER. FEEL BETTER. PERFORM BETTER.

LET’S GET ACTIVE.

📩 DM “READY” to learn how we help everyday high performers build strength, move with confidence, and stay consistent.
