POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It’s hard not to fall in love with making portraits when your wife makes it look so effortless. Seeing how these turned out was the moment I realized what was possible.

Proud of where we started, and even prouder of what we’re building together.

Path of Hercules 🏹

Today, I competed at my first local Grappling X tournament and I challenged myself by competing up in the 7-8 year old bracket in both Gi and NoGi!

In the Gi, I won my first two matches by arm-bar submissions then lost in the final against a tough opponent to an arm-bar earning a silver medal.

For NoGi, I bounced back winning both fights to take gold! First match, I finished with another arm-bar and the second match, I won by points and was proud to execute a deep half sweep that my coach @joekimmamba taught me when I was a white belt!

I feel proud and brave because of the challenge and difficult path of virtue I chose, just like Hercules! Thank you to my professors, coaches and teammates for always pushing me to train hard. Being able to show case my bjj skills during training and in competitions is rewarding!

Five matches and five wins 🥇

Yesterday, I returned to @compnet_california.usa, a tournament for all GB schools. There were twenty-one boys in my bracket with no points scored against me in all five matches. I’m proud to represent for my gym 💪🏼

Thank you to my professors, coaches, classmates, friends and family for supporting me! I’m grateful to have the best bjj community and gym @gbnorthridge in the valley. Special shout out to my dad for coaching me and always pushing me to never give up 🙏🏼

Good job to all of my friends for competing! Let’s get back into the gym and train harder!

DOUBLE GOLD 🤩

Today, I competed at Jiu Jitsu World League and earned double gold medals in my Gi and NoGi brackets. I had three fights with three submissions 🙌🏼

I trained very hard for this competition because this tournament has always been tough and I am proud to represent for my gym @gbnorthridge!

Thank you to my professors, coaches, classmates, friends and family for supporting me! Most importantly, thank you to my professors @johnrayxxii and @vitor_dantas_t for being with me today! I am grateful to have you all in my life 🙏🏼
