Podium finish at the LA Open. 🏆

Results on the mat don’t happen by accident. They come from having a system and trusting it under pressure. Caio executed the game plan through a stacked Medium Heavy bracket.

Want to learn the exact details behind these setups? We break down the concepts, drills, and strategies inside the MasterBJJ App.

📲 Stop guessing. Start studying. Link in bio.

THE UNSTOPPABLE BACK TAKE 🎒
A frame-by-frame breakdown of Professor Fabio’s Z-Guard system.
**The Secret (Slide 3):**
Most people fail here because they pull with their arms. You must **KICK.**
Watch the loop carefully—the leg kick creates the momentum to sit up. Without it, you are just fighting their dead weight.
**The Anchor (Slide 4):**
This is the detail that prevents them from flattening you back out.
Don’t just hug the back. **Post your hand** and grab the **Collar** high up. This “Anchor Grip” locks your chest to their back.

💾 **Save this** to fix your Z-Guard mechanics.
🔊 **Want the full speed breakdown?** Watch the Reel posted yesterday.

🛑STOP getting smashed in Z-Guard.
The Z-Guard isn’t just a shield—it’s a launchpad. But most people get stuck here because they try to drag the opponent with only their arms.
The secret isn’t the grip. It’s the Kick Through.
Notice how Professor Fabio doesn’t just pull—he kicks his bottom leg through to create the momentum. This forces the opponent’s weight forward and exposes the back before they can settle.
💾 Save this to drill the kick-through mechanic at your next open mat.

We are proud to announce that 2x World Champion and 5x Brazilian National Champion, Professor @caiobbg, has joined the MasterBJJ faculty.

A Black Belt under Felipe Pena, Caio brings a crushing intensity that feels absolutely inescapable. We are bringing him into the lab to capture the complete blueprint behind his dominance at the highest level.

The details are massive. The pressure is undeniable.

The cameras are ready. A new standard is coming. 🎥
