🎖 We believe that the rural regions' future has yet to be decided.
We believe that the future lies in the hands of rural activators > Village Hosts. By supporting them, we give them the right tools to sustain the development of the villages and the regions.

📍 Are you a Village Host? Or do you know one?
📍 If yes, apply for a unique Village Host training pilot
📍 The deadline is the 20th of January (this Friday!)-> https://lnkd.in/d32HKwmT

🎖 "Through this project, we want to build agency within the people and the community by investing in them. Rural activators with the right tools can change the situation/system more than outsiders, who often do not know the context and community" -> read more about Village Hosts on our website. https://lnkd.in/dhQK_Y_B

At the Celebration Mobility we held in Poland, we discussed the SDG 15- Life on Land target together and we learned more by challenging each other with the quiz questions we asked each other.
The event was not only limited to SDG15, but we also discussed the foundations of SDG Hubs, which are of great importance for the continuity of the project, as a team from Poland, Turkey and Spain and set our goals. 🤘

🧚‍♀ Are you the Huldufólk that we are looking for?
🧚‍♀ Or do you know one?

Did you know that Huldufólk translates to “hidden people”.
According to Icelandic and Faroese folklore, they are small supernatural creatures populating forests, lakes, caves and cliffs; who can choose to reveal themselves to humans. Legends describe them as living similarly to humans in a parallel reality, hidden from the human eye. Similarly, across Europe (and beyond), we can find likewise magical creatures hidden by the eye of the masses, carrying on their lives as village activators in a parallel rural reality...

🎖This is why we need YOU - Huldufólk!

#SUSTAINABLE #COMMUNITIES for #you(th)"
#dissemination.
We took the opportunity of an important event to speak about our experience in Poland, in the local farm, to share about our experience related to the role of sustainability in the present society.
The event took place in Arad, a big town in the west of the contry, between 14-17 November, with the participation of the students coming from 50 Romanian colleges and 25 young people coming from 6 countries: Germany, France, Greece, Serbia, Tunisia
The main topic was a simulation of the functioning of the European Parliament and of the Council of Europe. The debates were very active and the participants were very much involved, especially offering interesting points of view, due to the participation of the members of varius European countries. As a part of this event there was an ample discussion about how to be sustainable in relation with the European legislation. It was our turn to share about our experience and our knowledge we had the opportunity to get during our stay in the farm in Poland.
As a conclusion, it was a very good chance to disseminate all the great experiences we had in the beautiful Polish farm where we learned many things, under the guidance of our special trainers.
