TIDE IN OKC

Alabama Barbell showed up and showed out in Collegiate nationals this year with multiple 9/9 lifters and new state records!

Tide may be crimson but we only get white lights ⚪️⚪️⚪️

2nd Collegiate Nationals in the book for @alabamabarbellclub and I could not be more happy to have the privilege of leading this team. They’re some of the most passionate and motivated lifters I’ve met, as well as the most accepting and kind hearted too. I’m so excited for the future and to see the great things we’ll achieve!

Huge shoutout too to our amazing coaches @atcpowerlifting and @tonynosnih who always show up and move mountains to support us!

Another year of cnats and another year of putting kilos onto young liftas totals. 86% for the weekend and two of the fails we still hit/went up and still hit. Stepped in and assisted someone else to a 9/9 day as well. But mostly glad to have spent this time with my Alabama clients and the rest of Alabama Barbell. Bit of a lull period but into the building szn.

875lb/397kg total Alabama Junior Record

Prep quite literally stripped me of almost every ounce of confidence I had going into this week(peep the 347 pull on the left😪) , but a mustard seed moves mountains and my God never fails (peep the same weight on the right for the SECOND attempt).

So many wins on the day!! Atpr bench and squat. First bodyweight bench. Pr match deads on the 2nd attempt. Added 28lbs to the meet day total.

First time falling a lift on meet day. @tonyhinson just showin me what’s in reach and giving me something to work towards. Can’t wait to go again. 385+. Gotta have it.

Thank you @alabamabarbellclub ♥️

Nakama Strength’s Alabama pipeline is STRONG! Glad I got to make it over to coach in Alabama this weekend to spend time with my ppl and assist where the man @notgavinlyfts needed help!

Koi only missed lifts on technicalities but she showed up as well as we could have hoped, and clutched a best lifter and $500 dollars in her FIRST meet on the way to cnats.

Jay also competed in his first meet, and showed his willingness to work and listen all prep, and I can’t wait to see where we can take this.
