Fotoshooting for a mohair shawl featuring Sardinia and temperatures of about 30C.
And right now, I wish I’d be still there listening to the sea🤷🏻‍♀️
Cooperation with @kokonyarn for a new design to be published around last November days. As so often, the yarn and details do the magic. Testknitters welcome, I’ll post the details in my ravelry group during the next days.

Clue 1 is finished, yeah!!! Happy with the result so far. Of course I could not resist to look at Clue 2. It is gonna be a happy next week! All colours of the Verdant set (by Dark Omen yarn) are used now. The last two colours, White Magic and Raum were held together with silk mohair (from Kokon Yarn) in the colourways Rose Gold and Morning. I alternated these, so both are combined with White Magic and Raum. It makes the White Magic soft pink or green and the Raum soft purple or green. It is subtle and beautiful!😊💚 #Clue1 #colorkaleidoscopeshawl #westknits #darkomenyarn #kokonyarn #breieninnederland #breieniship #westknitsarethebestknits #westknitsmkal2026 #kleurjedag #stricken #tricoter #iloveknitting❤️ #knitspiration #knittersofinstagram #knittersofravelry

After a mammoth move to a new location ( I own the yarn store @handmakecreate ) I finally have some knitting time!! On the needles currently I have the #solveigvest #testknit It’s a stunning new design yet to be released by @elenormortensen If you haven’t seen it go check out Elenor instagram and her modelling her fab knit designs. I am going to do something a little different for the motif on the front…..I am going to embroider the motif using some techniques from the book #embroideryonknits by @ku.ni.ber.ta and some tips I picked up from my lovely friend @kasiajacquotembroidery as well as a little of my own embroidery experience. I will keep you posted on my progress literally!! Yarn of choice so far is @myak_fibers Fior di Lino in the colour Caffelatte and @kokonyarn Kidsilk Mohair in the colour Fog. Now back to it. I have a bit of knitting to do. #elenormortensen #handmakecreate

It’s always so lively having customers pop in to show you their amazing projects. @kyliechurchin is making a crochet blanket using the the fab @kokonyarn fingering weight merino. The colours Kylie chose are Moon for the edging around the circles. For the circles the colours are Smoke, Clay, Leaf, Cacti and Dare. I can’t wait to see more. #kokonyarn #crochetblanket #kokonfingeringmerino #sydneyyarnstore #handmakecreate

I found a beautiful old wooden box on Sunday that not only looks amazing instore but also fits some of my @lykkemakehappy Interchangeable Knitting Needles & Cords perfectly. I’m sure the position of this special@piece may change over time but right now it is sitting in front of the table of @kokonyarn Merino Linen Fingering. All of the product pictured and mentioned is available instore and online. I have also just placed a rather large order for more Lykke product that I am currently out of stock of so hopefully that will arrive next week. #lykkeknittingneedles #kokonyarn #sydneyyarnstore #sydneyyarnshop #handmakecreate
