TONIGHT - OCTOBER 25th 2026 Press Play is Token Magazine’s live music series spotlighting the artists shaping New York’s underground, bringing together sounds across rock, shoegaze, electronic, and pop for a night of live performances, with interviews and features of each band pre-show. For our Halloween edition, we’re inviting artists and audiences alike to come fully costumed. At its core, Press Play reflects Token’s ethos of fostering genuine connection in an increasingly digital world, bringing people together through live music, conversation, and the kind of shared experience that can only happen in a room full of people, especially those costumed and having fun. This bill features the groups @broodmare777 @komodosnyc @stonykillband and @suzubandnyc DOORS - 10:00 SHOW - 10:40 TICKET LINK - in the bio #BerlinNYC #LiveBands #LiveMusic #Halloween #TokenMagazine

meet the @komodosnyc the nyc based band inspired by 80s british indie and the spirit of early CBGB who bring a raw blend of post-punk and rock founded as a pandemic project in 2021 by twin brothers Taran (vocalist) and Kabir Dugal (drums) and then bringing on Hunter Boivin (guitar) and Ben Baumann (bass). the group cut their teeth making music and rehearsing in their williamsburg apartment, performing at house parties, and now doing shows across nyc. - the most exciting desis in music curated by @sidhmammen follow for more

alright i know we haven’t posted in a while… so the only way to come back is to put on the the artists that’ve reached out. this batch was surprising and refreshing, so many artists have sprung up in our scene recently across every genre, even country. listening to your submissions remind me that it’s really still just the beginning when it comes to brown artists making music. excited to see what these guys do next @ankrsnha @calcuttacowboy @komodosnyc @heyitssaach @shashank.wav @kiarachettri @dillonantony - the most exciting desis in music follow for more
