Medal Monday! I’m not gonna lie and say I wish I’d trained for this, because the shoulder pain I get from the bike just isn’t worth it anymore and the pool hours are so limited that I haven’t been swimming. But my coach told me I could do this race in my sleep so I just rolled with it. Always a fun event with a crew of Maui peeps and even Squad teammates from the mainland! It was a nice change to just race for a few hours and still have the whole day left! And now, back to running. Big goal coming up for 2025!

It’s days like these that make my heart extra happy to not just live in this community…but to be immersed in it.

Congrats to all the finishers of the @livermorevalleyhalf and 5k! I had blast with my emcee crew @mrwishiwazfishin and @bukueone!!! Props to @ryandawkins and the entire @mascotsports team for making this 10th anniversary of the race so special! And much love and gratitude to @rubylopezmedia and @mayormarchand for working so hard to create connection and bring amazing events to our city!

To say I love where I live (even more) is an understatement.

#tbt 4 years ago the hooman was on The Big Island of Hawai’i getting ready to participate in the IRONMAN World Championship!
.
After my viral hot dog moment 🌭 we applied for one of @teamintraining’s charity race slots into the race. The hooman was 1 of 5 folks selected. He spent many months training for the 140.6-mile race & I helped him raise over $113,000 for blood cancer research & patient services!
.
4 years ago today he & his teammates went for a practice swim in Kailua Bay & then participated in the Kona Underpants Run, a local tradition where you run up & down Ali’i drive in your skivvies 🩲
.
I didn’t make the trip to Kona (too hot & Hawaii’s not as dog-friendly as Washington) but there were about a dozen Flat Dashes around town during race week!

“I wish someone would have told me this sooner!”

You don’t have to change your entire look to camouflage your greys.

You can get highlights and still be brunette.

Your identity doesn’t need to change because you’re curious about hair color.

Lived in hair coloring is a game changer on all levels!

Want to know more about it? Drop your questions below and I’ll be sure get you in the know.

Amazing views, food, people and terrain.

1^ Tappa of IDAITA Tours was a gentle ride to San Nicolas Arcella with breathtaking views of the Tyrrennhean Sea. It was a delight to see the smiles on the faces of all of our guests- and the staff were pretty chuffed too! It’s an uplififting feeling, seeing people enjoy their bike ride.
