There is something truly special about watching our Sturdy Kids grow. From learning the basics and building confidence to becoming the strong, determined young athletes they are today. Their growth has been about so much more than just the weight on the bar.

We’ve watched them overcome challenges, push their limits, build friendships, and discover just how capable they are.

Tomorrow, our Sturdy Kids take the national platform, and we couldn’t be prouder!

None of this would be possible without the dedication and heart of Coach @mai_fit_1 , who has poured countless hours into these young athletes, alongside assistant coaches @waterhouse_life , @nater_tot9 , and @koshjennedy . Together, they’re building more than strong athletes. They’re helping shape confident, resilient young people.

To our Sturdy Kids, no matter what happens on that platform, you’ve already made us proud. You’ve earned this moment!

Thanks to @willhitchins for showcasing this absolute jabroni @kalmanxp - the manosphere has successfully indoctrinated this young man to now regurgitate their garbage worldviews and charge young men and boys money for the “privilege” of your “dating market wisdom.”

Based on your age and the photo you have with Myron Gaines of the Fresh and Fit Podcast prominently displayed on your Instagram grid, I completely understand how you turned out this way. Men like that in the manosphere have successfully groomed, you into spending your own money and then repeating the cycles of misogyny, extortion, and patriarchal diarrhea.

While you’re banking on getting a couple hundred bucks a month from the poor young men who are insecure enough to believe you can solve their problems, what you don’t realize is that you are actively harming yourself and harming them. Or maybe you do realize it. Either way, you need to do better, and you would greatly benefit from attending a @heybrotherhouse

How do you build friendship between ten strangers? That’s what we had to figure out @heybrotherhouse. The secret: just let boys be boys.

@carlosmonteonjr taught us all how to beach wrestle.

There were hugs. No surprise.

@mars.wright dance class let us all look silly, look suave, fail, and flourish in front of one another… And we even got to help each other master a new skill.

It was important for us to pour into the community that was pouring into us, so we took some time to volunteer and talk more about our experiences with nature.

I mean, we were 10 content creators in one house what did you expect?

Master chef @jerryxzeng taught us all plenty about the art of providing a good meal for your brothers.

oh, right, the hugs.

… and those without a fear of heights hit the rock climbing gym.

We took a thrifting trip to try on some new styles.

And we also got plenty of workouts in.

We took time to go out on the town, including a karaoke night.

And also spent time having deep and meaningful conversations around the couch.

The world would be a much better place if #brotherhood and #malefriendship looked like this instead of…whatever the hell the #manosphere tells you it should look like.

Love the homies. Tell them you’re grateful. Hug them close. You never know what someone is going through or how much time you have left with them. So ask. Express. Share. Emote. Connect.

Why does @profgalloway think so small?

It’s a question @mitchshepard is asking and one I think she’s right to raise.

Scott has been all over the media and on his book tour the past year talking about what it means to be a man today.

And for the most part, I think that’s a good thing. Scott has a platform and we need more men engaging in this conversation. It’s also a conversation that takes courage to be a part of because it’s one that opens itself up to quite a bit of discourse.

That said, Scott, like all of us, isn’t perfect. And one reason for that is that he thinks small. He reduces masculinity to 3Ps: perform, protect, procreate.

It sells men short, asks little of them, and encourages us to be less than we could be.

Mitch suggests more. Embracing Scott’s identities, she challenges us to ask men to ask more of themselves, and that’s something I can get behind. She turns his 3Ps into 10, and creates a vision for masculinity that is aspirational and not just functional.

It’s been a lot to process, i spent 7 days in a house with complete strangers to explore what it means to be a healthy man in this world and i think ill still be getting reflections and insights for years to come ❤️

I’m so grateful to have been chosen as the first trans man to go to @heybrotherhouse and i know the connections i made there will last a lifetime 😭

@heybrotherhouse was a cathartic experience for me.

I used that word all week, not knowing whether I was using it correcly, and I wasn’t.

I came into this house with the intent to acquire new skills that would help me be a better father, leader, and wrestling coach.

However I walked away with far more valuable things than just that.

First off, I learned to be vulnerable with my emotions around others. Before, if I felt like crying in front of people, I just would swallow the lump in my throat. Then, I would have to deal with the headache that follows until I got to cry in private.

Secondly, I got to connect deeply with such great men who all inspired me in their own unique ways.

Lastly, I unraveled my authentic expression of masculinity that was buried deep within years of social conditioning from wrestling’s red hat-wearing Christian culture.

Thankfully, I got to be myself for a whole week knowing I was safe and supported. From now on, I choose to be me regardless of other people’s projection of me.
