Director, Zoom Rockman, visits the site of Kauffering IV Concentration Camp in Germany, whilst researching the scene for our animated film, SURVIVOR. Ivor Perl BEM arrived here in September 1944 from Auschwitz II Birkenau and describes it in detail in his book. Zoom visited every place on Ivor’s terrible journey as accuracy was so important to him and he wanted to depict each location from 12 year old Ivor’s perspective.

Every detail in our animated film, SURVIVOR was based on a real photo reference and fully researched. This is one of the carts that delivered meagre rations to prisoners at Auschwitz II Birkenau.

In this clip, we see Zoom Rockman at his desk in his animation studio, where he tests out the paper cart, he’s just created for a scene.

As London celebrates Pride, the National Theatre should be proud of PRIDE.

A joyous, witty, emotional, rollercoaster of a musical, based on the film written by Stephen Beresford.

Set during the 1980’s miners strike, when the London Lesbian and Gay community gave their support to the Welsh pickets.

Matthew Warchus directs a brilliant cast with a fantastic score, superb voices and top-notch performances.

P&P Productions has mined a seam of wit, joy, tears, nostalgia and charisma, in the show of the year. Forget the coal, Pride has struck gold.

(Pride is playing at the Dorfman until September)

Happy 103rd Birthday to our beautiful friend, Henny Franks. Henny escaped Nazi Germany when she was 15 and joined the British army when she was 19. Henny is the star of one of the new animated films
being made for us by award winning director, Zoom Rockman. Research for this film included a trip to Cologne last month where we visited the site of her house, her school and the Fashion Design College she was not allowed to attend because she was Jewish. #holocaustsurvivor #lemonsoul #lemonsoulpublishing #zoomrockman #hennyfranks

Last night, it was a privilege to host a screening of *SURVIVOR* in the House of Lords with the Holocaust Educational Trust.

The film tells the remarkable story of Holocaust survivor Ivor Perl BEM, whose testimony is brought to life for a new generation through the outstanding work of director @the_zoomcomic and the team at Lemon Soul Publishing, using paper puppetry.

As Holocaust survivors become fewer and frailer, preserving and sharing their testimonies becomes ever more important. Ivor’s story is one of unimaginable loss and extraordinary resilience, it’s a story worth passing down for years to come.

I was particularly heartened to see so many of the @holocaustuk Young Ambassadors in attendance. In an increasingly polarised and hostile world, these young people are helping to ensure that the lessons of the Holocaust are not forgotten. Their commitment to education, remembrance, and challenging prejudice gives me real hope for the future.

Thank you to Ivor for continuing to share his testimony, to Zoom Rockman and Lemon Soul for creating such a powerful film, and to Karen Pollock CBE and the Holocaust Educational Trust team for all your important work.

By sharing these stories and encouraging future generations to learn from the past, we play our part in ensuring that we never forget.

If you would like to watch *SURVIVOR*, it is now available to stream for free on @itvxofficial : https://lnkd.in/duwEfDm8 - I thoroughly recommend it 🙏🏼
