Wales Strongest Woman - 1st Masters and 2nd overall! 🥇🏆🥈 I've never prepped for a strongwoman event before but after being persuaded to do this by my ace friend @kproctor17 i decided if i was going to do it I wanted to give it everything. So I did. I have trained till i am broken, exhausted and crying but kept going. I've done it alongside work and life that has been a great big mess and I've tried to stay a normal human being - not that easy!
It was a fantastic event and despite some issues with scoring I loved it all.
For me, most events went roughly to plan.
Sandbag carry and Press - not perfect but i did what i expected to do
Deadlift Ladder 140/160/180 was great
Conans - not great, having had a chest issue all week as soon as that weight was on my chest i stopped breathing altogether so only made just over 2 laps and was not happy
Hercules - my favourite event - first time in my life i am happy at having big hands - 1st place by nearly 20 seconds
Stones - I nailed the 60, 70, 80 & 90 in under 14 seconds then my body just said no to the 100 and i couldn't get it up

so overall i finished 1st in Masters, 2nd overall and 2nd in U82. @fcuk_averageeee totally smashed it out of the park as expected and i'm proud to have been beaten by her. Iv'e now qualified for Brits and Europe's strongest woman events so need to consider what next!! Everyone gave it everything on the day and tbh all the @wales_strongest_women girls gave it so much in every way for this competition. From promotion, sponsorship and just constant support to each other it was something that people outside don't get to see.

I know it's not the Oscars but i need to thank some people so though, here goes:
@wigan_viking_ has never given up on me. he's pushed me and believed in me always
@fullstrength001 for being the best coach and a great friend
@kproctor17 for talking me in to this mad stuff and being just the best person I know
All my friends family and everyone else that has supported and cheer for me. Love you all

Always look for the potential in someone, even when they can’t see it in themselves.
In just over a year, KP has gone from beginner StrongWoman (pretty strong) to entering Wales’s Strongest Woman (elite specialist)

Forever in awe of this woman!

My Rocky. About a year ago I decided I was going to enter my first Strongwoman comp. Stones were a dark art that I just couldn’t do. My awesome friend @willbfit_gym bought me Rocky. It was too heavy, much heavier than comp weight, for ages it was a seat 😂 now we’re mates, I’ve lifted much heavier stones too but Rocky will always be my favourite. It’s not just a stone, it was the kindest gesture ever. My friend was spending his hard earned cash on me because he had faith in me. That very day I also got shit for my name being on a stone 🖕🏻 Still waiting for that arsehole to lift it though.
