What an evening to announce the winner of the FFC Global Short Film Fund powered by @krassimirabelev and @firstdraft_production and sponsored by IMGN
Congratulations Cass Virdee @cassvirdee with Corner Shop

She will receive a prize package of €33.000 which includes €10.000 cash, €15.000 post production from @disauthority and €8.000 virtual production from @mo_syslab among a year of FFC support.

We got to celebrate the future of film together with the makers of the shortlisted projects and industry leaders.

The performance from @abiflynnworld was just like in Cannes absolutely incredible 🤩, and we got to enjoy the drinks from @palmaraespirit and @franklinandsons

We were lucky enough that for the 3rd year in a row we were hosted by @jang.london in the historical Royal Exchange which always brings all the vibes (&sushi!!)

And @somyofficial_ for dressing Abi.

The FFC Global Short Film Fund is open until Wednesday 9 September at midnight, and that is the final date.

The winner receives a package worth 33,000 euros, including a 10,000 euro production grant to actually make the film. A short, up to 30 minutes. Judged by eight women working in the industry right now, across seven nationalities, and the winner is announced at BFI London Film Festival in October.

One thing most people do not realise. Paying secures your place. Your materials do not have to be finished at the same time. So if you take your place today, you have until Wednesday night to get everything right, instead of doing it in one panicked hour.

Three more days for the FFC Global Short Film Fund!

We closed at midnight last night, and this morning we are giving it three more days.

So many of you were still writing to us with questions right up to the deadline. Real ones. What should I send? Is my idea far enough along? How does the whole thing actually work? Questions like that deserve a proper answer, not one rushed out an hour before a door closes.

So the FFC Global Short Film Fund is now open until Wednesday 9 September at midnight, and that is the final date.

If you have already applied, you are done. Nothing changes for you and thank you.

And if you have been meaning to, this is your three days. You are not applying with a finished film. You are applying to make one.
