🌴 ST. MARTIN VILLA TOUR 🐚

We booked this Sea Vous Play villa in Terres Basses because it was cheaper than booking 2 hotel rooms in Grand-Case haha

We booked with @isle.blue because they were the MOST helpful during the entire process, compared to other companies that ghosted my emails. I generally like to be very hands-on in trip planning, and Mary, our concierge, addressed all my questions and concerns with professionalism and grace 😅

This villa has 4 bedrooms, each with a bathroom, and there's a powder room by the entrance. The only bedroom I dont have footage of is the room with 2 twin beds, perfect for kids - all the other rooms have king beds!

Lastly, the concierge team in SXM was top notch (thanks Marius!) and made our stay perfect 👌 like arranging our rental car to be there earlier than expected and preparing the villa for an early check-in!

Feel free to reach out for the link or for more details ☺️

📍Java, Grand-Case, St. Martin 🇫🇷

Amazing spot to just relax by the water and watch the sunset 🌅 And the tropical drinks are good and pretty cheap compared to other spots on the Blvd! Espresso martini wasn't very good, but stick to rum while on the island anyway 😄

Haven't tried the food here, but it does look delicious!

Best night of the week 💃

From February to April, if you're on St. Martin, it's a must to check out the weekly street party in Grand-Case on Tuesday nights! It goes from 6pm to 10pm and I recommend you arrive around 3 or 4pm to avoid traffic. Find a spot to grab some drinks, watch the sunset, and then continue the party on the boulevard 😉

Plenty of craft and food vendors are there! Rum, jewelry, CBD & THC, art, pottery, clothing, accessories, toys and dolls, etc. And the food 🥰 we had everything from ribs to crêpes, to samosas the size of my hand, bokits (a Guadeloupe favorite), accras, craft beer, and the strongest homemade passionfruit rum we've ever had 😂

📍Pic de Viscos, views of the Cauterets and Luz valleys with a panorama of mountain peaks ⛰️

⚠️ It's a pretty difficult hike - easy going for a couple miles, but then it's more mountain climbing than hiking. I wouldn't recommend kids on this trail to the peak, but a couple of people brought their dogs. Definitely do this on a day where it hasn't rained previously because this would be extremely treacherous on anything other than dry soil/rocks. It's not a trail most people know about, so chances are you'll only see a few people! It was recommended to us by our awesome host, Paul, from @la_grange_aux_marmottes, who grew up here and knows all the good spots 😀

Overall, it's an amazing and challenging hike that rewards you the entire way with views. Be prepared for cursing, wanting to turn back, and 90-degree inclines lol harness your inner mountain goat for this one 🐐 ⛰️

📍Lac de Gaube, a natural glacial lake in the Hautes-Pyrénées that seems to change color as you walk around it 💚💙

Instagram keeps messing up when I post portrait and landscape photos, so the next post will be landscape shots of this beautiful place because portrait won't do it justice.

There's nothing like a metal fest in the woods for 50 bucks! Takes place every September on the grounds of a 15th-century chapel in between the Pyrenees ⛰️ & the Mediterranean 🌊

This is probably one of the best locations to catch a sunset on Guadeloupe 🇬🇵 I can't believe we spent 7 hours here, but time goes quickly when you are eating, drinking, napping, swimming, & admiring this perfect beach together! Feeling grateful for our lives! And with beach lounger rentals at 15€ for the entire day, it's a no-brainer 😊

There's also a full spa for those who want even more pampering!
