You can leave a place, but some places never really leave you. That’s how I feel about Toronto.

I lived there for 14 years. When I first arrived, the city’s vibrancy and raw energy were intoxicating. There’s a potent creativity in Toronto and a drive that empowers you to take an idea and give it form. It shaped who I was then, and who I’ll always be.

I built a career in television there. I met some of my best friends. I lived through experiences you couldn’t replicate anywhere else in the world. It’s hard to put into words, but there is a shared thread of connection and togetherness in Toronto that few other places have.

By the same token, if you aren’t careful, that same relentless momentum can chew you up, spit you out, and leave you feeling completely spent. Towards the end of that 14 year chapter, I was ready for something different.

In January 2025, my then-partner and I decided it was time for a change. Within two months, we were driving west toward a new horizon, seeking a pace that was slower, more spacious, and deliberate. The suddenness of that departure recalibrated my gratitude for the people and places in my life. We assume we’ll have plenty of time to say proper goodbyes, but the pace of life often outruns us. This kind of impermanence is an age-old truth, but one you have to feel firsthand to viscerally understand.

I adore my life in Vancouver and the community I’ve found on the coast. Yet, walking through Toronto’s humid, gorgeous dog days of summer during this recent visit confirmed what I already knew: a part of me will always belong there.

Thank you, Toronto. That was real sweet.

Last year I wasn’t sure if I would return to the farm. This year I had a strong ping telling me I was meant to be there. Always follow those curiosities. This year was one for the books. I feel so inspired and fulfilled. So much connection and love I can’t even describe. Deep belly laughs, hugs, heart openings and beautiful music.

I don’t typically prioritize the sunrise set at the Grove but this year I did. Frameworks I could not think of a more perfect set to close the container that was Shambhala. It has now inspired me to film my next YouTube set. Juicy volume 2 is percolating.

Thank you to everyone who shared their art, held space for others in need, and to the team behind the scenes who make this magic happen.

If you’ve been thinking about going for your first time, or to return after a hiatus, let this be your sign to make 2027 happen ✨

You best believe next year your girl will be spinning at rabbit hole, and it is now one of my life missions to play a sunrise set. And so it is ✨✨✨

There is something profoundly healing about hearing another woman’s experience.

From a sister who has felt it for herself.

Every woman who comes to my table arrives with her own story, her own wounds, her own longing to feel safe, seen, loved, and connected.

This beautiful testimonial is one woman’s experience of being Touched by Rose.

May her words speak to the women who have forgotten how deeply they deserve to be held, supported, cared for, and remembered.

From my heart to hers.
From her heart to yours.
From one woman to another.

🌹 If you’re ready to come home to yourself, DM me the word “TOUCHED.”

All of you is welcome.

With Honour,

Rose 🌹

Please help me celebrate this milestone 3 years in the making. TODAY…one week before my 36th birthday…my agent began shopping around my book manuscript to publishing houses.

I submitted my first proposal on April 29, 2023.

Thank the universe and its divine intervention that it wasn’t accepted. It wasn’t the book I really wanted to write…yet. It was the book I thought I should write, but I couldn’t write until I was ready to be honest. About my role in my own suffering. Until I was ready to be vulnerable. Ready to live and love again. Ready to be loved. Until I had solid ground beneath my feet.

So, a few weeks ago, fed up with my own shit, I sent the chapters I feared most. The ones in my “throwaway” folder. I wrote a new proposal thinking, fuck it, if I was going to say what I really wanted to say, this is how I would say it.

I hit send, tipsy on exquisite wine, at 4 am.

And I woke to an email saying, in so many words: now THIS I can work with.

I got to read Chapter 1 to a room of women I love, and who have been with me at different parts of this journey. Some friends old, some friends new. It was a peak life experience.

The proposal could get rejected a hundred times, but there have already been a hundred lessons learned. I will not deprive myself of celebrating! And I have a feeling…a really good feeling…that there are many more celebrations to come with these amazing women by my side.
