Getting into the swing of a new school year, a new travel schedule, and a new rhythm with my clients. Still figuring out what’s working for me and for them, and what’s just not working behind the chair anymore but I have had some really great weeks at @disco.salon.atl recently
@bit.sanders recently challenged me to create a Pinterest board.. and now.. Im obsessed with collages.

@alythehairclown and I changed a tire in the middle of a busy Saturday.. just two Cartersville hunks taking a break from clients to be somebody’s pit crew (we only charged one Google review for the service.)

Easing into fall colors. I love tweaking everyone’s look for the changing season.
BOBS. BOBS. BOBS. I will never get tired of cutting a bob. There’s still nothing like laying down a crisp line on a sleek one.

What do you do when @krissen__ walks into Disco wearing a hot dog costume? You shoot their afters in the hot dog costume. No notes.
My boy Moto is loving 2nd grade and the new neighborhood :)
Look at @disco.maddy’s hair! I recently was certified with AQUA no sew wefts and installed a 22” row on her. Seamless, lightweight, and so easy for her to wear day to day.
Somebody tell @artistrybyannie_ to start shooting more film because this double exposure of the salon came out so good.
I told Rose every time we order a new color tray, she gets to smash a broken one. She had way too much fun with this.

It Takes A Village
by @drewborders.art

A few 35mm moments from bringing this mural to life 🌀
Created for BE on Edgewood, “It Takes A Village” was inspired by themes of unity, freedom from prejudice, and equality. The interwoven hands represent an unbreakable bond, celebrating both our individuality and the strength we find in community.

It was a privilege to work closely with Marjan Yavari to create a mural that reflects the spirit of @beonedgewood , @one.contemporary ,and the National Center for Race Amity, and the care they continue to invest in the neighborhood every day.

THANK YOU @lilianaforatlanta
The Historic District Development Corporation (HDDC) for making this happen!

Witnessing 12 years of these humans’ love, how their big lives have expanded even more alongside one another, spawning a community rich in love, depth and evident joy. These are the people that make me so happy to be exactly who I am. I wouldn’t change a single circumstance or aspect of my huge, challenging, beautiful life. That kind of love has carried me, allowing the space to be my total self, in every form. Kristen & Kate, I will love you back, forever, in every lifetime. Thank you, endlessly. Driving across the country to celebrate your love was the easiest decision I’ve ever Merled.

This project came to life through deep intention, personal connection, and a great deal of care and dedication. It means so much to know that local families are engaging with and benefiting from this meaningful, free resource—one that brings community together through the power of art and a shared love for nature, especially vital ecosystems like the rainforest.

Bossa Nova Baby: The Lungs of the Earth is open. 🌿

Happy Earth Day - A rainforest has taken root inside the Woodruff Arts Center — and it breathes.

This immersive experience continuously transitions from dawn to dusk, gently dissolving the world outside. Bossa Nova warmth and rhythm moves through the space. And, as in any rainforest, every half hour it rains.

This magical world inside the @alliancetheatre PNC PlaySpace invites families to splash in a projection-mapped river, hug a squeeze wall, make music, and meet frogs.

A new species is discovered in the Amazon every 48 hours. We designed a space where children discover something new every time they blink.

Conceived by @alliancetheatre, designed by @dash._.studio with Creative Direction by @okcoortney — brought to life by artists @carla.contreras.art, @potentflora, @ivan23d, @farbodkokabi, @mikelustigart, @therealcharlesschwab, @santiago_paramo, and @krissen__. With generous support from @PNCBank.

Book your visit — link in bio. 🌧️
