Dear heiter readers, Independent publishing is not an easy journey and we are at a point where we cannot face it alone. The production of issue 3 has been especially challenging. The costs are high and we are currently not in a position to cover them ourselves. That is why we have decided to get the community involved. If all our readers (old and new) pre-order their next heiter issue through the crowdfunding campaign we’re running on Kickstarter, we should be able to cover the costs. Without enough pre-orders it’ll be the end of our heiter journey - which is the option we like the least. heiter was created following founder Katharina’s personal burnout experience. Since then the publication as well as the workshops and events have brought joy to many people’s lives. It’d be heartbreaking for it to have to end here. Please help us keep heiter going. Back our campaign either by pre-ordering your copy of the Blooming or picking one of our other brilliant rewards. Link in profile. Should we succeed, each backer will get an invite to our launch event, a mention in the magazine and enter to win additional prizes (more info on that soon). Thank you and be heiter! @katharinageisslerevans & the heiter Team

ANNOUNCEMENT Independent cultural publishing has always depended on communities of readers who believe in the value of thoughtful writing and shared conversation. Rather than relying on advertising or algorithms, heiter is sustained by those who want to see this kind of cultural space continue to exist. Our current crowdfunding campaign is an invitation to support that work. By backing the campaign, supporters are helping to secure the next issue of the magazine while also strengthening The Heiter Society that allows heiter to grow and evolve. After careful consideration and developing a strategy that can turn heiter into a sustainable business, founder Katharina has now joined forces with a small team surrounding heiter, a wonderful group of contributors as well as stakeholders to give Kickstarter another go. Together they believe that with your support, they can create something truly unique that will add more joy to the world. The content for the third issue is all planned out. All that is needed now is the financial boost to make the project become a reality. Thank you in advance for your support! Be heiter. P.S. you can access the link to support our campaign via our profile.

Celebrating women who inspire me has really been a delight. Each of these women are so inspiring for many different reasons. I love how they are all artists, at their core. Their canvas is different-a photograph, a floral arrangement, a paintbrush, buttercream, a tablescape, stationery, a farm, their own home….the way they see the world and share their talents is beautiful. From entrepreneurs to award winning bakers, to authors and designers to educators of their craft. Each of these women deserve a closer look, I think you’ll be very inspired, too. Thank you @beijosevents @tuftandtrim @ginghamandbows @mscraftberrybush @susangordonpottery @jannelford @barleyandsage @petitekeep @meg_nlo @caitlinwilsondesign @fleurflowerfarm @krissmacd @sugarandcharm @karaspartyideas @aww.sam @bakingwithblondie @earthandsugar @handletheheat @empressstationery for inspiring me personally, professionally…as a simple follower of your work or a friend for many years, I appreciate the beauty you bring to this world! #inspiringwomen #internationalwomensday #celebratewomen #inspire #inspiring #artists #photographer #illustrator #floralart #sugarart
