POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM COLLECTHER PODCAST

After consultation with legal counsel, federal investigators, several members of the clergy, and one woman who simply asked, “what the fuck is wrong with you two,” we are prepared to address the allegations.

Yes. At the 2025 National, we interviewed Kristina from Card Ladder.

Yes. It was a good interview.

And yes. We then disappeared that motherfucker for an entire year.

The footage was not lost, corrupted, embargoed, confiscated, or classified.

We simply forgot to post it.

We would also like to acknowledge that somewhere along the way we essentially ghosted our loyal podcast listeners and went completely fucking radio silent, making the disappearance of this interview substantially less surprising.

Following an independent investigation into CollectHER leadership by CollectHER leadership, the findings were devastating:

We are idiots.

Those responsible have been identified as the hosts. Unfortunately, they also run the investigation, so no disciplinary action is expected.

We apologize to Kristina, Card Ladder, our inexplicably loyal listeners, podcasting, the hobby, and the basic concept of consistent content production.

We have no additional information regarding the status of the podcast or the hostage at this time.

Hobby Stadium with the @cardladder family

Fun Fact: Hobby Stadium president Stephen Go met CL founder Chris McGill (aka to others as Chris HOJ) as far back as 10 years ago as members of a Michael Jordan collector group chat. Stephen served as one of the pioneer testers when the Card Ladder app was being developed - an app that consolidates all comps from different platforms worldwide for accurate latest valuation of your cards!

Jack Hughes wins gold for Team USA.

On Sunday after the win alone, his Young Guns sold over 200 times.

Two hundred.

In one day.

That’s not random.

That’s a moment hitting the hobby in real time.

You watch a goal like that.
You feel it.
You want a piece of it.

So you go buy the card.

But here’s the question you need to ask yourself.

Are you buying the player?
Or are you buying the moment?

Because moments move markets fast.

They spike volume.
They spike comps.
They create urgency.

But not every spike sticks.

This is where you need discipline.

If you already believed in Hughes, that moment reinforces your conviction.

If you didn’t, and you’re chasing because the timeline is loud, that’s a different story.

I love seeing 200 sales in a day.

It means people care.

It means sports still drives cards.

But before you hit buy now, slow down and ask yourself:

Would I want this card if that goal never happened?

That’s how you separate signal from noise.

New episode of Card Ladder Confidential with @kristinaspc and @cardboard_chronicles out now on The Stacking Slabs Network.

The National - Chicago 2025 🏈
What a time to be part of the hobby. ❤️
This has been my 3rd one back-to-back, & I’ve enjoyed every moment of it. Seeing friends from all over the country & enjoying the one thing that brought us all together.
It’s a pleasure to have been brought in by my husband, taught about everything, & getting to be part of a community that has been fairly welcoming. 😌 while my collection is very small, but growing, it’s fun to be so involved & learning about what makes it so great. I didn’t take as many pictures this year, because there was A LOT going on, but I wanted everyone who I got to see & hang out with know that I missed you, I love you, & I’ll see you next year in Chicago! To the people I met for the first time, it was great & I appreciate you hanging out. 🙌
Tyler said “this is my hobby now, too.”, so I’m grateful to everyone who has welcomed me & continues to deal with me. 😂
until next year, friends. ✌️
My/Our National pickups will be in another post!
*I can only tag 20 people, so please don’t be offended if you didn’t get tagged 🥲*
