A first look at Surviving, a book very close to my heart. Three women. Three eras. One fight for freedom.

Surviving explores domestic abuse across generations, following three women’s struggles to reclaim their lives.
It’s coming soon in TWO editions: a black-and-white edition and a special full-colour edition. The same story, with the choice of edition entirely yours.

I’m looking forward to sharing more with you. Which edition would you choose?

This was created to carry their stories, the fear they concealed, the strength they discovered and the hope waiting beyond survival.

Yesterday, I got to give Peter Capaldi and Pearl Mackie a story I wrote for their Doctor and companion; and I still can’t quite believe that happened.
So I gifted them copies of The Wasteland of Tomorrow, my Doctor Who × Fallout crossover novel; and now I’m sharing the project online for the very first time!

This story brings the Twelfth Doctor and Bill Potts crashing into the wasteland of Fallout, featuring well known characters from Fallout 4 (Piper Wright and Nick Valentine), as well as my own Fallout characters, and, of course ,the Doctor and Bill Potts themselves. As a writer and a lifelong Doctor Who fan, getting to hand it to the people who brought those characters to life meant so much to me. Pearl is my all-time favourite companion, which made this moment even more special.

So . . . who’s ready to follow the TARDIS into the wasteland? ☢️💙

I WON! 🏆

A little while ago, I created a video inspired by Love in Wartime for The Secret Post, and I’m so happy to say it won The Ashwood Letters Challenge!

My prize is a full year’s subscription to The Ashwood Letters — 24 letters delivered throughout the year, following the mysterious correspondence between Annabella Davenport in 1907 and Nina Rosemond in the present day.

I absolutely loved creating the video for Love in Wartime, so finding out it had been chosen as the winning entry was such a lovely surprise.
Thank you so much to The Secret Post for choosing mine. I can’t wait to step into the secrets of Ashwood Manor.

I can finally share this . . .

I WON the Page to Stage Playwriting Competition with my play, One More Dance.

I’m still trying to process it. Knowing the judges were unanimous in their decision means more to me than I can put into words. One More Dance is now going from page to stage with Blackpool Belle Productions, and I honestly couldn’t be more emotional or excited to see this story brought to life in a professional production.

This play means so much to me, and to know it connected with the judges enough to win is something I’ll never forget. Thank you so much to Blackpool Belle Productions and everyone involved in Page to Stage for believing in my work.

From writing stories at home, to seeing one of my plays produced on stage . . .
Next stop . . . Doctor Who 😉

NEW BOOK INCOMING!

I can finally share something incredibly special with you. This is Surviving - my forthcoming novel about three women, living in three different eras, whose lives are bound by the same devastating struggle for freedom.

Cecily, 1887.
Audrey, 1941.
Mara, 2026.

Behind three respectable doors, control takes a different form. Each woman is watched, isolated, and taught to doubt her own voice. But beneath the silence, something is beginning to bloom.

This is a story about abuse and the different ways society has concealed it - but it is also a story about courage, hope, and the moment survival becomes a new beginning.

I am so proud to reveal the official cover of Surviving, coming soon to Amazon.
Three women. Three eras. One fight for freedom.

Release date to be announced.

A lonely lighthouse, a raging sea, a time traveller and his blue box, and something reaching out of the darkness itself . . .
Step into Doctor Who: The Storm Beyond the Glass – A Short Story, featuring the First Doctor, his Granddaughter Susan, and her two teachers, Ian and Barbara.

Here’s a glimpse of the atmosphere behind my story; a little mystery, a little terror, and a storm you really wouldn’t want to get caught in . . .
