Meet Christen, #EveryDopeGirl ‘s Director of Operations! We want to dedicate this post to an amazing friend, supporter, and amazing woman — Christen (although she hates photos and recognition, we had to show some love! You’ve seen Christen at our events making things happen, we are so grateful for her!

@chrisdion_gma11 received an Accounting Degree from Tuskegee University. A Birmingham, AL native, Christen took on a role in Omaha, NE at ConAgra Foods. During her stent in Omaha, she obtained her Masters and continued her passion of giving back to the community through service.

After 4.5 years in Omaha, Christen relocated to Houston,TX — and the giving didn’t stop. Over the last few months, Christen has continued her efforts of giving. Just last night @haul_yp (Houston Area Urban League- Young Professionals) hosted Noir: A Night of Black Excellence. The event brought together the City of Houston to raise funds in support of the Houston Area Urban League which supports programs including youth enrichment, education, small business development, first time home buyers, and health awareness.

We also offer business services for start ups and small to medium sized businesses and non-profits. Most recently we joined forces with @southernkouture and @ambitiouslya for the launch of our 2019 Southern Ambitions x EveryDopeGirl Mentorship program! We are so excited! 👑
