Sometimes we’re so busy working toward the next goal that we forget to celebrate the one we just accomplished. Someone recently reminded me of that, and they were right!❤️

So today, I’m celebrating!
Iam officially a Certified Life Coach! 🥹🙌🏽

For years, in my personal life, one on ones, through radio, my Daily Dose, my monthly Zooms with young girls who are becoming young women, conversations with women and speaking engagements, I’ve found purpose in pouring into people. I wanted to do more than encourage others. I wanted to gain the knowledge and tools to help people make meaningful changes in their lives. So I invested in myself, put in the work and earned my certification!

And listen, between my career, being a mom and everything else, my schedule is already CRAZY! 😂 But I made room for something that mattered to me.

I hope this encourages someone who’s been putting their own goals on hold because life is busy. Whether it’s going back to school, starting a business or learning something new, you don’t have to do it all at once. Start where you can, but don’t forget to make room for YOU.

I’m excited for what’s ahead! Women’s dinners, workshops, speaking engagements and creating spaces for meaningful conversations, personal growth and new possibilities.

Before I start planning what’s next, I’m going to enjoy THIS moment.

Because what’s the point of working so hard to accomplish something if we never take a moment to appreciate that we did it?❤️

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and I’m not speaking from the outside looking in. I know what it feels like to live in your head, question yourself, walk on eggshells and carry fear into every room.

For a long time, I thought loving harder could fix what was hurting me. It couldn’t and won’t!

Healthy love does not require you to shrink, stay silent or lose yourself just to keep the peace. It makes room for your voice, your safety, your joy and your freedom.

If you’re reading this and any of it feels familiar, please don’t judge yourself or feel like you have to figure everything out today. Leaving isn’t always simple, I know that firsthand.

You deserve to feel safe, and when you’re ready, there are people who can help you make a plan and begin taking steps toward a life where you don’t have to live in fear.💜

If you need help, text START to 88788 to connect with a live advocate through the National Domestic Violence Hotline.

A message that continues to travel through many lives and communities: you are not alone. 💜

We spent an incredible Saturday with @afspcolorado and the @rockymountainvillains . So many people stopped by to learn about the Bearded Villains and the Suicide Prevention Memorial, leave messages on the ribbon, share stories, and spend a moment together. Thank you to @ks1075 for spreading the word!

Here are a few photos of family and friends at the Out of the Darkness Walk. Thank you to everyone who visited, shared a piece of their story, or helped carry this message forward.

Colorado showed up for the 4th Annual Beats & Sneaks Kids Sneaker Drive and we are so grateful to have been part of it. Over 600 pairs of sneakers, countless smiles, and a community that continues to show up for its kids in the most meaningful ways. This is exactly the kind of work that reminds us why being present in this community goes hand in hand with everything we do. Postman delivers for Colorado. 💜

Right now, there are lots of parents trying to figure out, “How am I going to do this?” and the school year is literally around the corner.

Growing up, I understood this very well.

Today, the @SharpestRides family called us and said, “Let’s go shop for the kids!” Myself, Deb, & Vicky met them, and we had a ball shopping for the 4th Annual Beats & Sneaks Kids Sneaker Drive.

I know that Kevin and Margie aren’t the type to show the world all of the good that they do, and trust me, there is a lot! But as long as we’re connected, I’m going to brag about them!! Sorry family.😊

The Sharp family doesn’t look for the spotlight. They’re just amazing people quietly choosing to lighten the load for families they’ve never met.

I can’t thank you enough for buying all of these sneakers today! 🥹

Sometimes the biggest difference is made by people who never ask to be recognized. 💚

You still have time to donate for B&S! Drop off is at @KS1075 in DTC and @SharpestRides in Englewood.

Join us this Saturday, Aug. 1, from 11 AM–1 PM at Paco Sanchez Park. Kids must be present, sneakers are first come, first served, and if you’d still like to donate, there’s still time.

A lot of us got hotboxed by our grandparents growing up😂

In all seriousness, Grandma wants to know, “Am I being unreasonable…or has parenting gone too far?”

I’ve had feelings that were dead wrong.

Feelings that told me I wasn’t ready.
Feelings that told me to quit.
Feelings that told me nobody cared.

Good thing I didn’t listen.

Just because a feeling is loud doesn’t make it true.

It’s Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month🩵

Men are often taught to carry the weight, push through, and keep moving. But carrying it all doesn’t mean you should have to carry it alone.

This conversation shouldn’t be limited to just one month.

Check on the men in your life. Listen. Create a safe space.

Sometimes the strongest thing a man can do is speak up, and the strongest thing we can do is listen.

🇵🇷❤️ There are moments when a vision becomes something bigger than yourself.

Looking at this festival flyer, I’m reminded that what started as a dream has grown into a movement that brings together culture, community, businesses, families, and people from all walks of life.

I want to personally thank every sponsor, volunteer, vendor, entertainer, supporter, and community partner who has helped make the 2nd Annual Viva la Isla del Encanto Festival possible.

A special thank you to:

He’s says “Now I’m sitting here, wondering…is drama with someone’s child’s mother on the first date automatically enough to make someone walk away or did my date overreact? I haven’t heard from her since.”
