Art under $100? Of course I had to go

So many artists, styles and completely different ways of seeing the world.

Thank you @under100artshow for bringing all these artists and their stories together in Winnipeg.

And yes… I couldn’t leave empty-handed. Two pieces somehow felt like my story.

Have you ever looked at a piece of art and thought, “This feels like me”?

Her practice also includes small, joyful objects like keychains and tea strainers shaped as ghosts, mushrooms, faces, and unapologetically human forms, including vaginas and boobs. Each piece invites whimsy, comfort, and personality into everyday rituals.

Guess where I’ll be this Friday evening? At the most magical shop in Winnipeg! I’ll be at Tara Davis boutique from 6 to 8 or so, but the shop is open for First Friday 5 to 9 PM! And you’ll get a double billing, there’s not just me but another Art opening in Tara‘s shop. Plus, of course all the gorgeous things that you can regularly see in her store. It’s the perfect time for Christmas shopping, or just buying a little gift for yourself or someone else because of love.

Working with @aanmofficial and @prairietheatrex to bring ya some pottery ladies for the showing of “raised by women”.

This was installation day and big thanks to Sacha for not just meeting me but also waiting while we negotiated parking AND being gracious when my idiotic mouth worked independently of my brain.

if you’re an artist with a disability or a Deaf artist or would like to work with them, check out Arts and Accessibility Network of Manitoba. Their work is impressive and so very important.
