Today was Katy’s last GTN Cancer treatment. It has been cool (rewarding?) to see this side of her. She is incredibly strong. She is truly a warrior. I have had to grow in taking care of her while she heals and is vulnerable. She has been very emotionally strong, but in the way of letting herself feel what she feels yet coming out of it at the other end with hope, growth, and more faith in Jesus. She wore her faith over fear sweater on purpose on this last day of treatment, and I think she truly embodies that. I have seen her grow in faith through this process instead of resenting the Lord for this happening and that has been truly amazing to watch and be an example to me. Just wanted to brag on her for a sec. We still have to do CT scans every month to make sure it’s all good and hasn’t spread and doesn’t come back, so we would appreciate prayer on that, but even if the worst comes to happen, HE is mighty and good- all the time. I love you Katy.
