Around a year ago we opened a recovery studio at the back of our garden. Where are we now? We're now in manufacturing. We've used the revenue from the studio to build HELIO, functional eyewear that lets you control what light reaches your eyes from day to night. We're building this brand from scratch. More to come. 🧡 Building my dream with a 9-5 #buildingmydreamwitha9to5 #business #entrepreneur #heliocult #dream

Good morning ☀️ 90 minutes of HYROX training DONE 💪 Sweat, teamwork, cramps, laughs, and pushing through every block with my newfound friends and gym buddies 👊 The last run hit hard… my thighs started cramping, and it brought me right back to HYROX Cardiff 😅 but one thing this sport is teaching me is to keep moving forward, even when your body wants to stop. Mental strength really kicks in when the legs start talking 😂 So excited for what’s coming next… HYROX relay soon with Andromeda, Yoann, and maybe Coach Dan leading the madness 🔥 Always guaranteed a solid workout with Coach Dan! Looking forward to more sessions with Kubo Wellness and the new OTF team too 👀 Keep your eyes peeled… this is only the beginning 💥 Powered by USANA Health Sciences ⚡️ #HYROXTraining #FitMama #OTFDerby #HyroxRelay #StrongerTogether MindsetMatters KuboWellness GymCommunity WomenWhoTrain HyroxJourney PoweredByUSANA NoExcuses KeepShowingUp

Today I took a trip over to KUBO, a brand new space offering PEMF therapy, Red Light Therapy and Hyperbaric Chambers. They’ve just opened and honestly, it’s fantastic to see something like this locally. I went in without any expectations…just curiosity and the intention to support another small business doing good work in this space. Walked out genuinely feeling calmer, clearer, more grounded and like my whole system had been dialled down into a deep parasympathetic state. For me, health, longevity, recovery and performance all go hand-in-hand. You can only perform as well as you recover and in a world where we’re constantly “on”, overstimulated and connected to everything…finding moments to switch off is becoming a skill in itself. Today gave me that. I tried the PEMF (the electrode-style therapy) and Red Light Therapy and I’m already looking forward to jumping into the Hyperbaric Chamber on my next visit. It was a quality experience and a great opportunity to slow the body down and reset. And a big shoutout to Yoann and his wife who run KUBO. Super friendly, incredibly welcoming and clearly passionate about what they’re building. It’s always a win seeing good people create something with purpose behind it. If you’re curious about recovery, performance or simply want to give your body a chance to breathe for an hour… KUBO is worth checking out. https://www.kubowellness.com/

“I started this business because I didn’t have a choice. I almost lost my dad due to a heart condition, he’s now blind, but grateful to be alive. After years in corporate, I saw how disconnected our systems are from true wellbeing and it made me lose trust in the systems that are supposed to protect us. I also grew up in the Philippines with no access to wellness. People deserve more. And this isn’t the future I want any child to grow up in. They don’t deserve to be fighting for appointments at 8am. Being prescribed pills to cover symptoms. Or being put on long waiting lists. So my life partner & I created a solution. Kubo Wellness offers red light therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and pulsed electromagnetic field therapy, all from the back of our garden. In just 3 months, we built a 30m² lodge with 5 rooms, set up all our equipment, decorated our space, and launched our website. We’re so close to officially opening! All this while working as a full time graduate engineer, my partner as a teacher, and being a mum to a 5 year old. HelpBnk pushed me to just start. To stop making excuses... And that you learn and grow by doing. I got pregnant in my 1st year of uni while studying Civil Engineering, but I didn’t let that hold me back. Because what I’m building is too important. Now, I get to help people for a living.” @andromeda.holistic @kubowellness #helpbnk #entrepreneur
