First Cape Town 21km done. ✔️

The last 3km tested me in ways I didn’t expect. My legs were cramping and barely moving, and every step became a prayer. In those moments I felt carried, held up by Jesus when my own strength had run out. All glory to Him. 🙏🏾

To the @asenzeni30 crew and the community I’ve built here in Cape Town: your cheers from the roadside pulled me through. Ngiyabonga zingane zakwethu. There’s something about the rhythm of shoes on tar and people willing you forward that stays with you.

september was as heavy as it was joyful! i ran my first race at in cpt, we got to celebrate 30 years of @underarmour and had the UA girlies in town. between Mageba’s hills and Andile making us suffer up trematon, it doesn’t get any better than this 😂😩🧡

This past weekend, I had the privilege of hosting an intimate room of incredible women for Brunch & Bloom. A morning centred around leadership, connection, growth and the power of women supporting women.

But if I’m honest, there was a moment during the event where I found myself reflecting on the woman I was 10 years ago.

I wish I could have sat in a room like this then.

A room filled with women who were building businesses, leading teams, navigating change, figuring things out, asking questions, opening doors and simply reminding one another:

“You’re not alone.”

Ten years ago, I didn’t always understand how important it was to have women around you who could see beyond your current season. Women who could challenge you, encourage you, connect you to an opportunity, share what they’ve learned or sometimes just understand what you’re going through without needing you to explain it.

And perhaps that’s why creating these rooms feels so personal to me.

Because I don’t just want to host beautiful events. I want to shape the way women connect, build each other up and create pathways for each other to thrive, together.

Flowers that bloom together, bloom faster.🌹

Thank you to the phenomenal women who added to the space, without you none of this would be as impactful, and to @connectsa_cpt and @shano_06 for supporting this incredible event.
