POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Six months before I committed to 365 days of green juice and no sweets, this was me enjoying ice cream with my daughters.

And judging by the size of that cone, I wasn’t holding back!

I’ve always had a sweet tooth.

Ice cream. Afternoon M&M’s. You name it!

But something interesting happened when I decided to change my habits.

I didn’t just give something up.

I started adding things that made me better.

DAY 357 / 365!

8 days to go in my green juice + no sweets journey.

When @kutimack introduced me to green juice, he challenged me to replace my old habits with healthier choices.

So I started drinking fresh green juice made with cucumber, celery, kale, and ginger.

But once I got going, I realized I could build on that momentum.

I started STACKING GOOD HABITS!

75 days later on January 1, I added The Bible in One Year.

Now I’m approaching a full year of starting each morning reading Scripture, and by the end of the year, I’ll have read the entire Bible!

I also added daily Super Moves, simple two-minute exercises to get my blood flowing and keep me moving.

And my daily Super Squad check-ins have helped keep me accountable along the way.

One good habit led to another.

And another.

What started as a commitment to my physical health became an investment in my body, mind, and spirit.

That’s the beauty of STACKING YOUR DECK!

You don’t have to change everything overnight.

Start with ONE positive habit.

Build consistency.

Then add another.

And watch how those small daily choices begin to transform your life.

And those ice cream outings with my daughters? I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything.

The goal was never to eliminate joy. It was to become more intentional about my habits.

After 357 days, I’m realizing that what I’ve GAINED is far more valuable than what I’ve given up.

LESSON 8: STACK GOOD HABITS.

Don’t just focus on what you’re giving up. Focus on what you’re building. One positive habit can create the momentum for another!

One question. One conversation. A journey that changed my life!

September 2023. I was at a party with my brother @kutimack and I remember looking at him thinking, “Man, this brother is FIT!”

So I asked him a simple question:

“How do you stay so fit?”

He turned the question back on me and asked what I struggled with.

My answer? SWEETS!

Especially those afternoon M&M’s when I needed a little pick-me-up.

Kuti challenged me to think differently. Maybe what I was looking for wasn’t candy, but energy. Instead of reaching for sugar, why not try fueling my body with something better?

GREEN JUICE!

He also invited me to join the Super Squad, an accountability community where we check in daily, share healthy habits, and encourage one another to Be Our Best Daily.

I started juicing and checking in, but I wasn’t consistent.

Then I watched Sean, Kuti, and Christine cross the 365-day milestone, one by one.

It reminded me of Roger Bannister and the four-minute mile. Once someone showed what was possible, others began believing they could do it too.

Seeing changes believing!

As I approached my 49th birthday, I made myself a promise:

Make my 49th year my healthiest year!

365 days of green juice. No sweets. Daily accountability.

Today is DAY 355!

As I count down the final 10 days to my 50th birthday, I’m sharing 10 lessons from this journey.

LESSON #10: You don’t have to be ready the first time you’re exposed to something. Surround yourself with people who inspire you. Learn. Experiment. Stay connected. Seeing others do what’s possible gives you the belief to make the commitment yourself.

And one day, YOU may become the inspiration someone else needs!

10 days to go!

Health is Wealth! 💚

Today was a reminder that some of life’s best moments are free. Shoutout to Conscious Crusade (Ala KiKi) for bringing together some incredible people. Sometimes you have to slow down, stop and smell the roses, touch the grass, reconnect with the earth, and simply appreciate the beauty around you. We don’t do that nearly enough. 🌹🌿🎨✨
