WOW!!! The response to last nights concert was insane! Lander’s University and Old Main Singers would like to extend an enormous thanks to everyone who came out to support us at last nights concert. We had a great time preparing and performing this music for you all! ❤️❤️❤️

We would also like to congratulate Abigail Johnson (@abitheklutz ) on the reception of the Turner Award, and Katie Walenceus (@kwalenceus ) for her reception of the Music Discipline award.

On October the 25th, at 8pm, one of my best friends Charli Cisson and I will be having our senior capstone project in form of a senior concert. We’ve been working so hard to pull this together, and we’re looking forward to showing you all what we can do.
•
We look forward to seeing you there!!! It’s going to be at Lander University in the auditorium, inside their Cultural Center at the center of campus. The concert will begin promptly at 8pm, so I would suggest getting there around 7:30 to get a good seat!

Thank you to everyone who has shown such overwhelming support of our learning these last four years. It’s been such a wonderful experience. God bless ❤️

Meet our Choir Counsel!

Katie Walenceus is the choir president, she is a Senior Vocal Performance major at Lander University. She has been in both University Singers and Old Main singers her entire time at Lander, and has also been in Piano Ensemble, and participated in Lander’s Opera Workshop.
In her spare time, you can find Katie drawing in her dorm, bothering the music professors at the CC, or reminding herself to drink water, and not just coffee.

As some of you know, I spent my first two weeks of August in Manitou Springs Colorado, with @summitmn . While there, I sat through approximately 51 hours of lectures (Yes. I did the math...), and drank innumerable cups of coffee and ate a disgusting amount of goldfish and wheat thins 😆 but most of all I made some of the best friends I’ve ever had, my roommates, Dasha ( @darya_elayne ) and Avery ( @dishmanavery ), and of course the ever lovely and vivacious Alayna ( @joyforeating ) ❤️ thank you ALL for such a lovely experience and for helping me see God’s love in even the most unlikely places, and for supporting me and overall being blessings in my life!
Also thank you to summit ministries ( @summitmn ) for teaching me things I NEVER would have learned anywhere else and for giving me access to so much Godly resources I can use for my whole life.
Anybody who has questions or wants to hear about my trip to is even interested in going to summit, I will GLADLY answer your questions best I can! 😆❤️🤘🏼
