The last three days have been a whirlwind! I’ve been at the REAL Conference that the Oklahoma Association of Realtors (OAR) puts on, and had my last Leadership OAR (LOAR after this) session.

The process to being chosen for LOAR required an intense application, an interview with the executive committee, added commitments to an already full schedule, and a lot of nervous waiting to hear back. The classes chosen each year are small and many don’t make it their first time applying.

I was very fortunate to get in my first try and I completely believe it is because I was supposed to be with these specific people. These exceptional humans I’ve gotten to spend the past year getting to know, growing alongside, and stretching myself with other incredible leaders. I am so grateful to have been in the 2026 class.

We have been in sessions together the past few days, had some delicious food, and cried together, because, that’s what we do. Wrapping things up with the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission meeting this morning. My cup is full, my gratitude is busting at the seams, and boy is it bittersweet. 😭

I showed my clients the most incredible home in Yukon and I had to share a couple of photos because… wow.

This home has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, beautiful finishes, tons of natural light, and that clean, bright feel that makes a home instantly stand out.

But the tile?

Absolutely unfair. I am still thinking about it and, yes, a little jealous.

It is always fun walking into a home that gets the details right. The kind of place where you start noticing one thing, then another, and suddenly you are mentally redesigning your own house.

I’m good at what I do. But I haven’t figured out how to wave a wand and make buyers ignore an overpriced home. 🪄🏡

I care deeply about my people. I put thought into the marketing, stay on top of the details, negotiate, follow up, and have the conversations that help you make informed decisions.

Sometimes that conversation is about price.

You deserve an agent who can explain what the market is telling us—not just agree with the number you hoped to hear.

And yes, your agent should be accountable for the quality of their marketing, communication, and advice. When a home isn’t selling, we should look at the whole picture: price, condition, location, exposure, showing access, and the competition.

You can’t move the house. You may not want to renovate it. But we can discuss how to position it thoughtfully for buyers comparing their options and monthly payments.

I was reminded of something really special today.

I pray over my business. I pray over opportunities. I pray for my buyers and sellers, the decisions they are making, and the things they are walking through that I may not even know about.

Today, while showing a home to my buyers, something happened that meant more to me than I can really put into words.

My buyer simply said, “We should just stop and pray about this.”

And we did.

Right there, in the middle of a showing, we stopped and prayed.

It was such a simple moment, but such a powerful one. I felt genuinely honored to be included in something so personal and important to them.

Buying a home is a big decision, but it is also about people’s lives, their families, their hopes, and their futures.

I am grateful for every opportunity I have to walk alongside people during these moments. And today was a beautiful reminder of what matters most to me.

Some moments are worth so much more than a closing. This was one of them.
