Jawsome! JAWS the OG Summer Blockbusters is playing in IMAX for its 50th anniversary! 🦈 It’s wild how intense and scary this movie can get while only seeing the shark for a few scenes. But the intensity, cinematography, stakes, characters & motivations elevate it to something bigger & better… Love Quint, Hooper, Brody & his wife, oh and that Mayor, he’s so accurate LOL! And of gotta love the shark who is a conniving A-hole the whole movie and I love it! me and all the text messages siri read during my first half marathon 🗣️

past few weeks have been challenging with training but proud of how far ive come! thank u for all the support and luv, it kept me delusional thinking I could beat 2:20 LMAOOO

my favorite things about this entire experience in no particular order:

- encouraging 6 of the homies to sign up for this race (one of them has never ran more than 1 mile)
- getting everyone’s updates on the disc chat
- meeting @coachbennett on mile 10
- @josephbarbosaa ‘s crash out poster and @certifiedfitnessboi Barry’s poster
- @josephbarbosaa running with me on 80 percent of the training block
- flying to Chicago to run an 8k with @certifiedfitnessboi @johason @josephbarbosaa and lily
- seeing my race day watchers @josephbarbosaa @felixchun @notlilu @kkeoni_chang @carlojosonn @valerieee_ann___ @rj_2187
- mutiple trips to @banditrunning and @roadrunnersports LOL
- talking to @leylaarellano_ on race day
- bumping into @joyschao on one of my long runs
- shooting on a track with @kwizten
- getting the sickest running shoes from the plug @brianvalentino__ bandit x novablasts AND Barry’s training
- running during edc
- signing up for another gym membership
- carb night with gworls and the flicks I took of them
- going to mama lion after running 10 miles
- getting texts from all the homies during my race
- all the encouraging messages from yall throughout this whole damn time
