New scans of physical photos from personal albums. Pretty sure these were taken at a show in Richmond in 1997 or 98. Can anyone help with the location?

Discogs tells us this 7" is turning 30 this year. Back in 1996 none of us could have imagined this music being reissued in 2026, nor that it would be available digitally on supercomputers that fit in your pocket. To commemorate the occasion, you can give it a listen in the original sequence using these fancy playlists. https://tidal.com/playlist/cd5280d3-68f1-4c7d-8e06-f5980ddc84b5

While cleaning up my studio room today, I found some cute Polaroids from my first ever tour and band The Valerie Project! These are from Oct/Nov 2007. We were on tour with the original print of Valerie and Her Week of Wonders on loan from the Czech film archive, reimagining the score. A blip in time but really changed my life and relationship with the harp to be invited to participate in this project. ❤️ First time in LA! There was a small earthquake at @mittenmaker and @vetiverse ‘s place and I spilled soup on the hot carpet! @jayfruit was our projectionist at the Castro. Such a fun time. @dragcityrecords #fursaxa @fernknightforever @greg_weeks_music_official @brookesietinsons @mrsjessicaweeks #charlescohen @sparhawkian @helenaespvall @josephagervasi @folkyeahevents

Gadzoots. Blowing kisses, sitting, crawling, standing, tumbling, two teeth!, cruising around->almost walking, turned 9 months old, loving cats, loving leaves, loving pools, has the best big kids around him, imo best baby to travel with sleeps and smiles on airplanes (may regret this brag later on), we saw one hummingbird, and tried to eat a pumpkin

Great take on the new 2XLP expanded edition of P.G Six’s ‘The Well of Memory”.

@heathendisco brings us back to 2004 and a show known only to those in attendance. Deep in Brooklyn, P.G Six, Currituck County, White Magic and Avey Tare and Panda Bear (Animal Collective) played in the living room of Marlborough Farms. Sweet sounds poured out the window screens into a perfect summer night and people spilled onto the front lawn.

“this material – mostly folk songs in as perfect an encapsulation of the human spirit in pensive repose as ever existed, with occasions into wind harp/Bertoia-esque tone (opener title track) and electric Ry Cooder on a circuit bend tear (“Considering the Lateness of the Hour”), and now six additional songs from this era, and a whole side of live activity to boot …

… Something happened that day in question, a corner turned for a renewed era of personal music in the city and surrounding states, and if you weren’t there, you can still feel it inside this remarkable album. Find it immediately.”
