Running 🏃🏽‍♀️🏁Back in 2017, the goal was to walk everyday & not be out of breath walking up the stairs. I would walk on the track before work. As you can see, I was winded. Another goal was to be consistent & simply show up for myself. Like with anything, I got better, I got faster, I got stronger. Then I started running. Going to the track became my thing. Ran a 5K everyday for a year. My bff, my mentor & friends joined in & supported me. Took a break when I met the gym & barbells in 2019. Then just focused on strength & lifting heavy. 2022-2023, started running again for fun. 3.0 mph was so hard for me. Present day 2024, I am still in love w/ running & lifting. And I do both. Strength & cardio matter to me. 7.5 mph is where I’m currently at & it’s crazy to see how far I’ve come. And once a week, I do a conditioning workout where I do box jumps, burpees, row, ski & it’s just such so much fun. Never thought I’d say that 🙃 I wasn’t built overnight. I just show up every year, every month, every week, every day. Beyond grateful 🙏🏽🤍 Looking forward to many more years. Looking forward to what’s next in my fitness journey. Till next time 🤍✌🏽

Adirondacky stay-cation to start the President's week break. BREIA trails at Jackson Hill and Egypt Rd. were top notch and made all the better with 12" of fresh powder
