Just wrapped a week at Wilderness Ranch. 6 days of dust, blisters, laughs, deep talks, and watching my high school friends slow down, and meet Jesus in the middle of the mountains.

This trip also marked the end of my time on Young Life staff. I feel so grateful to have gotten to have this job for the last 6 years. I’ve loved walking with high schoolers through real life and real questions. I’ve loved leading with people I trust. And I’ve loved getting a front row seat to what God does when we just keep showing up. Thanks to everyone who’s been a part of it. Swipe to slide #10 to see the greatest support system I could ever ask for. Right alongside my gratefulness to be able to serve in this mission, is my gratefulness for my family. I’m the richest man in the world.

I get a lot of “he’s just like you” when Truett is playing sports or demanding the attention of the room with his humor and antics… But the best parts of him, his kindness and empathy, the way he makes a new friend at every playground, his love for snuggles and chocolate, that’s all his mom. The stuff that doesn’t always show up in photos, but is definitely no coincidence. Truett has the best momma ❤️
