"The reason I'm really appreciative of everything that's going on around me is because of the fact that I never expected it, and I want to keep that attitude."

That’s a wrap on 2023,
This year brought on many opportunities for growth and self improvement. I enjoyed times with friends and loved ones living in the moment instead of taking pictures. But some times pictures were taken to remember moments.

Focusing on academics and prioritizing my own education allowed me to secure major opportunities in leadership and for growth.

The biggest opportunity this year was becoming a Sleader on the drum major track at summer symposium. Thank you Jessica for giving me this opportunity, believing, and having our backs during this camp. Reddy’s Regiment truly brought out a new side of me and allowed me to further expand on my leader skills and grow as a person. So thank you to all my kiddos🫶🏽.

Thank you to all my closest friends and those who helped me throughout the year. I truly appreciate you being there and let’s make new amazing memories and secure even more opportunities in the new year.

With Mucho love Signing out 2023.

“One has to remember that every failure can be a stepping stone to something better.” – Colonel Sanders

In the blink of my eyes my Sophomore year at WCU is officially complete!!! All I can say is that last year was a hard year that almost took me out, BUT I bounced back and finally discovered what I wanted to do in the future, switched my major and had a very successful year this go around. Going from barely passing freshman to finishing this year with A’s and B’s. Tons of personal growth including from knowing when to cut something or someone from my story that was a negative force, to being hyper focused on the finish line and allowing myself to try new things! So never give up, never lower your head. Keep that crown on that head!
