Today was motherhood magic.

We had the honour of attending the Motherhood Expanded book release and market @rising.moon.studio , and it also became a very special milestone for us: HELD Studio’s first public appearance and live demo.

To be welcomed so warmly into the wellness world meant more than I can properly put into words. The women we met today were kind, open, curious, and so deeply encouraging.

And watching Ashleigh offer HELD live, right there in the room, was so exciting. Every person she held left feeling like a puddle in the very best way. Softened. Regulated. Melted.

It was such a powerful thing to see the HELD techniques, the ones we poured over for weeks come to life in real time, with real women, real nervous systems, and real moments of exhale.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, followed along, entered the giveaway, received a demo, or simply offered your kindness.

We felt so welcomed today.

And honestly? It felt like the beginning of something really beautiful. 🤍

Congratulations to the authors!! The bathtub is calling me while I binge read every page!

Sometimes moms just need other moms.

Not to fix you, not to save you… but to remind you that you are not alone and you’re doing a damn good job even if it feels like you’re sinking some days and flying on others.

It was my absolute honour and pleasure to nourish these beautiful mothers and my fellow co-authors tonight as we prepare to open up our space tomorrow and welcome you all for our Motherhood Book Launch Event!

To the other authors of our beautiful Book who couldn’t be with us this weekend - you’re with us in spirit!

And to our fearless leader @rootsandwingschildhood — thank you for blazing a trail so bold and courageously that gave us all the permission we didn’t need to do the same.

We all came into this journey feeling like we were carrying so much on our own and within that found our village.

We hope you can join us tomorrow @rising.moon.studio to celebrate the launch of the Motherhood Expanded MOVEMENT🦋💗

10-3pm!

It takes a village to raise a mother.

And so many of us… never had one.

We were handed babies, but not always held in the becoming of mother.

This is the space I needed when I first stepped into motherhood.

A place where women gather.
Where stories are spoken out loud.
Where nothing has to be hidden.

Where you are reminded—you were never meant to do this alone.

So we created it. And I will continue to build it through all the work I do.

Please join us to celebrate being a mother!

Being in circle with women has been a passion and art form for me through different seasons. I crave authenticity and connection like oxygen. We weren’t meant to mother alone. That’s why writing a book about shared experiences is just the beginning. Because shame can’t exist in the light. We need each other and we need safe spaces for important conversations. Motherhood Expanded is available on Amazon and through my website April 7th, 2026.

And we’re taking the book on the road! I want to meet you, hold hands with you, witness you. The book tour will bring us together. Back in circle. Dates and locations will be released soon. Keep your eyes out and stay tuned right here @rootsandwingschildhood

Over the last year, I’ve been (re)birthing, breaking, healing… and in the midst of it all, I’ve also been part of the creation of something really special.

A book called Motherhood Expanded.

Writing my chapter for this book was such a cathartic experience. One that asked me to be honest, raw, and fully in my truth.

This isn’t a polished version of motherhood. It’s a real one.

The grief.
The love.
The unraveling.
The becoming.

Alongside 15 incredible women, these stories have woven together like a web, each thread carrying its own story, yet proof that we are all so deeply connected in our experience of mothering. Linking our experiences across time, across generations, across the unseen spaces between us. 🕸️

Each story offering a piece of truth, a moment of honesty, a lived experience so that any woman who reads it can feel a little more seen, a little less alone, and a little closer to herself.

We’re celebrating the launch this Mother’s Day weekend, and I truly can’t wait for these words to land in the hands and hearts of mothers. 🤍

We’ll be gathering this Mother’s Day weekend!

Please join us for in person author readings, a pop-up market with local artisans and vendors, café drinks + treats, live music, and more! All in celebration of motherhood.

⏰ Time: 10am-3pm
📍 Location: Rising Moon Studio, Sherwood Park, AB
🎟 Tickets $20 advance $30 at the door

Today on International Women’s Day, we want to take a moment to recognize two incredible women — the CEO, COO and Founder behind KPSquared.

What started as a vision has grown into something truly impactful for our community. Through sleepless nights, endless hard work, and unwavering dedication, these two women have created something extraordinary. KPSquared is not only an innovative childcare centre, but also the first 24-hour childcare centre in the region — opening doors for families who need care that fits real life.

Leadership like this doesn’t just build businesses — it builds communities. Their courage, passion, and commitment to children and families are creating meaningful change and setting a new standard for what childcare can be.

Today we celebrate their vision, their resilience, and the powerful movement they are creating for families and for women in leadership.

Here’s to strong women, bold ideas, and the impact that happens when women lead.

Happy International Women’s Day to everyone, and thank you for joining us and helping KPSquared.
We wouldn’t be here without everyone one of you and our families.

・・・
It has taken me some time to metabolize the experience of the Canadian film premier of SEEN that took place this past fall in Toronto.

@seendocumentary

It was a celebration of the human experience and a communal nod to the daily efforts of secure attachment; more emotional safety more often.

A massive thank you to my friend Sam Jockel @_samjockel_ (Gold Coast, Aus) who invited me to host this event and entrusted me with the privilege of being on the panel. So much respect for your humble vibes and zone of genius.
Thank you to (the queen) Dr. Vanessa Lepointe @dr.vanessalapointe (Vancouver, CA) who I still can’t believe I got to share the stage with. For sharing in delicious Mediterranean food together and for always bringing the fun.
Deep gratitude to my fierce visionary and soul sister Kyla Penner @kylampenner who traveled from Alberta to attend and is deeply committed to meaningful, rebellious work that honours children and families.
To my brothers whom I deeply adore Scott and Dave, thank you for coming out to support. And for your conscious dedication to being strong fathers and husbands.
To my parents who covered for me at home and allowed for me to do this work travel.
To my friend and client Allison (and her husband Justin) who did the honour of providing a land acknowledgement and for graciously hosting me in your home to enjoy a meal and a walk - it was next level special to hug you IRL after so many years of being your coach and guide.

A huge heartfelt shout out to my friends, colleagues and partners

The mission was simple: fly in, paint as much as you can, fly out.

Strangely, I can actually say that I have spent 10-15 hour days painting for 3 days in a row before 🙄 but it sure wasn’t as fun!!

It was an honour, for both of us, to see the amazing space that had already been created, and to add to it ☺️ This was a really special project and even more so because Leta agreed to join me 💛
