We are tickled pink to have our friend Kyler Martz taking appointments at Hold Fast. If you don’t already know and love him, you should! Sign up for his mailing list on his website for bookings, as he schedules tattoo appointments monthly between his other artistic endeavors. He’s a real gem of a human being and he fits right in with our little crew ❤️

Who misses the old ports o’ call? Everybody’s saying, “Go check out San Pedro!” So I did. ☕️❤️ thanks @southbayberty @sanpedrovibe

It’s exciting to see the waterfront slowly opening, but I still miss the places that made it special. The was a family destination for us — the place we took family visiting from out of town. Those memories stay with you. ❤️ I still have have a gift card for Acapulco and Mexican Cantina HA!

But on this visit, a beautiful hand-drawn illustration inside Starbucks caught my eye! 🎨🔎 I tracked down the name on the artwork: Kyler Martz! @kylermartz

His work has appeared in Starbucks locations, and now I’m curious about the story behind this piece in San Pedro. Check out his work and tell me what you think!

And yes, my pumpkin latte has its own girl math. 😂🎃 Two pumps sugar-free vanilla, two pumps pumpkin, and pumpkin protein cold foam.

I’ll always love supporting local small businesses, but sometimes Starbucks is just everywhere!

New merch is on the website, so we obviously had to make Dan show it off.

Shirts in all sizes and colors, bandanas, and water bottles with art by @kylermartz are available on the site! Each order comes with stickers and matchboxes that were also designed by Kyler.

Because you can never have too much Tumbleweed merch.

We have a bunch of new merch on the webstore now, all with artwork by @kylermartz. 26oz water bottles, Comfort Colors pocket tees in black, olive green and blue, and bandanas in brown and turquoise (printed in Portland by @mysto_screenworks). We also have stickers and matchboxes that are included in every order. Kyler designed our first bandana about a decade ago and we are super happy to be able to collaborate with him once again! Supplies are pretty limited, especially for the T shirts.

Honestly? One of my favorite days ever with my son. We got to spend the day meeting people from all over and learning about the wooden boats they’ve crafted to travel everywhere! It was such a cool experience to share with him, and I felt so grateful to everyone who was patient with him and shared their knowledge for all of his questions. It was also really amazing as a woman, meeting women who sail and know how to fix every single thing on their boat. I’m also obsessed with the artwork for the event created by @kylermartz and might have snagged a lot of souvenirs with the artwork. 😂. Thank you @woodenboatfestival for putting on an amazing event. We will be back next year and maybe someday, with our own wooden boat. 🤗. #porttownsend #woodenboat #woodenboatfestival #porttownsendwoodenboatfestival
