SHOUT-OUT SERIES | THE INDUSTRY GROWTH EDITION

12 businesses. Different expertise. One shared industry.

I've always believed there's enough room for everyone to succeed.

We don't have to offer the same services, share the same ideas or do things the same way. Our differences are what make this industry stronger.

This week's shout-out celebrates 12 businesses, individuals and initiatives helping our real estate industry learn, grow, connect and thrive.

Here's some industry love!

@sidekickpm — Empowering property management business owners through coaching, education and programs like PMBA.

@pmcollective_australia — Creating opportunities for property professionals to connect, share ideas and learn together.

@ellen_bathgate — Helping property professionals strengthen their brands through content and marketing.

@riseinitiativeau — Advocating for mental health, wellbeing and positive change across real estate.

Different businesses. Different approaches. Different strengths.

Some of us even operate in the same space. And that's absolutely okay.

Because celebrating someone else's success doesn't take anything away from your own.

There's room for all of us.

Know an amazing industry business, tag them below and share the love 🩷

Collaboration over competition. Always.

Most agency owners spend their days running the business, with little time to take a step back and work on it.

That’s the purpose of our Agency Profit & Growth (APG) workshop. Over two days, business owners examined where their profit is generated and where it can be improved, enabling more informed financial decisions. They focused on building high-performing teams that operate effectively without constant oversight, and on translating long-term goals into plans they can execute.

Attendees also explored how to grow revenue and build lasting wealth, and how a strong customer and employee experience supports retention on both sides.

Every owner walked away with a clearer path to a stronger, more sustainable agency, and a network behind them that’s invested in their success. That’s what we mean when we say we’ll look after you.

Thank you to Kylie Walsh for leading the workshop, and to everyone who joined us and shared their insights.

Three years. Three REIT Awards for Excellence. And somehow… I’m now an honorary Taswegian. 😂

A huge thank you to Michelle Tynan and the entire REIT team for trusting me to host this incredible event for a third year. Watching the growth of the awards over those three years - more nominees, incredible finalists and an even bigger sense of pride in the Tasmanian real estate industry - has been something pretty special.

And going back to Tassie? Always a genuine delight. This year… Devonport, the Paranaple Convention Centre, another brilliant room full of brilliant people…and apparently, my official induction into the AFL Tasmanian Devils is complete! 😂 Thank you, REIT. I love coming home to Tassie. ❤️ 😉
