to women everywhere: “the most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don’t have any.” if you are disheartened by the results of the past couple of days, do not let it set you back!! some situations will break your heart but correct your vision. we now see the country in which we are surrounded by and we know the work that is left to do. though it can be scary, you should never be scared of doing what is right! to the amazing women in my life personally, i hope you know that you are still so strong, so loved, and so valuable. even with a setback, women in power still took a lot of wins today! that said, let EVERYTHING serve as a constant reminder of what we fight for. and lastly, remember who continues to stand in the rain with you moving forward, even when they have the choice to stay dry.
